The Celestial Compass and Karat removable wall and surface covering in a navy blue and metallic gold colorway is easy to apply, reposition, and remove. Simply peel and stick onto recommended surfaces. They are perfect for small projects; add new style to a door, furniture, or accent piece. It is not recommended to apply product to flat paints, textured surfaces, or surfaces in poor condition as product will not stick or damage could occur in removal. Roll size is 20.5 inches wide by 198 inches long covering 27.5 square feet. Made in the U.S.A. Pattern repeat: 20.5 inches x 20 inches.
I tried to decorate a work desk with this product, having successfully done so before in a different classroom. This material was less sticky, it literally fell off after applying it to a 3.5 foot area. The desk I was applying it to met the application surface recommendations, and I used a squeegee as recommended. Overall, disappointing and my return was refused. I would recommend choosing a different product if asked.
We purchased this wallpaper to do an accent wall in the bedroom. I had already read almost all of the reviews before I purchased so I knew what I was getting myself into. I only needed 4 rolls so I followed the advice of other users and purchased 8 rolls to make sure I got matching lot numbers. Unfortunately I still received a mixture of lot numbers. 3 of the rolls had the same lot number and for the 4th I just chose one that looked the closest. Although the 4th looked close, when the wall was actually done I could tell the difference. Most people probably wouldn't notice it and it's in my bedroom so people don't really see it but it is kind of annoying and I wish I had gotten 4 of the same lot numbers. If you are OCD or you're using the wallpaper in a common area or a place with a lot of lighting, I would recommend getting all of the same lot numbers. As far as applying the wallpaper, it wasn't really that hard. It definitely takes 2 people though. One of us applied it to the wall and guided it down while the other used a ruler (a squeegee would work too) to make sure it laid flat and without ripples. We have an old house and our walls aren't straight so it did require a little bit of overlapping the wallpaper to get the wall covered. We also had to go around a window but it wasn't hard. Because the wallpaper is dark and you don't have to line up any patterns, it worked out great. There are a few ripples here and there but you can't see them, you'd really have to feel the wall to find them. It took us about 2.5-3 hours to do one full wall and go around the window. It looks great and I love it! We get compliments from everyone who sees it. I would definitely recommend the product BUT be sure to order at least double what you need to get the same lot number (which stinks because they aren't cheap but obviously you can return the rest). I also think this would be impossible if you had to follow a pattern. This wallpaper is just blue with specks so it doesn't really matter if it lines up. We have had it up now for 9 months and it's still perfect. Nothing has unstuck or come apart or anything like that, it looks exactly like it did the day we put it up.
I loved this product, however this is definitely a two person job. While I attempted and was able to complete the job with just one (at times), two people was optimal.
Hanging peel and stick wallpaper brings out the best and worst in each of us. However, once it hung it is well worth the smiles and tears!
Tools required: a box cutter for trimming, measuring tape for measuring your wall/matching pattern and plastic smoothing tool to get the air bubbles out.
Also, it is imperative to buy rolls front the same dye lot!!!!
Really happy with this product. I am a renter, have a very large dining/living area and wanted an accent wall (8ftx10.75ft) without getting into paint. I spent a good portion of a day scouring the corners of the internet to find a peel & stick wall paper that fit my aesthetic and cost about $1.50/ sq feet. This one was perfect for me and in stock at my local Target! I just finished putting it up, I experienced the process with and without a second pair of hands. Doable solo, but required a bit of creativity (I used a 5ft bookshelf to hold the end of the roll while working at the top, cut the excess backing off midway through).
As others have said before, the paint pattern is forgiving and I didn't bother matching it up. Can't readily see the seams unless I search for them. The quality is excellent. First time peel & stick user and I didn't find the vinyl too difficult to manage with a smoother, a x-acto knife and some patience. Word of advice, I recommend cutting pieces to fit small spaces instead of attempting to overlap large portions of vinyl adhesive. Hell is truly trying to reposition a vinyl strip once it has adhered to a large area of an adjacent strip...
The color and pattern are fantastic. It really makes a room look spectacular, which will be overshadowed by the ripples, the seams that appear when the vinyl shrinks (and it will shrink) and as many others have noted, the inconsistency with the color. I have this on a bedroom wall, and luckily, most of the wall is covered by furniture, but the corners frequently peel off the wall! I properly applied with a squeegee (sp?) and did not have a SINGLE WRINKLE. After the dry round of Santa Ana winds, the wallpaper immediately started peeling off the wall. The corners never stay one panel is shrinking as the seams are coming apart. I have command strips trying to hold up the edges. What a shame. I would consider replacing the shrinking panel, but honestly I don't know if it's worth it because its so expensive.

I ordered 3 rolls. 1 roll was a different shade of blue. I tried to return and the customer support is so incomplete, it’s still sitting on my dining room table. The matching ones look great, but I’m frustrated with the third and Target.

This looks beautiful on the wall, but was extremely difficult and frustrating to apply. If you don't get it on perfectly, then peel and re-apply, it's a lost cause due to stretching. I have many wrinkles and bubbles in mine, which is not noticeable from a distance, but is apparent up-close. We had better luck unrolling vertically rather than horizontally on the wall. I had to order a 3rd roll to complete my project, but haven't received it yet to determine color matching.

One of the best patterns I could find in peel n stick wallpaper. I absolutely love how it looks! Not too hard to work with. Granted, I have experience with wrapping cars in adhesive vinyl so this was second nature to me. I wouldn’t really recommend this product unless you have some experience on how to do this kind of thing. Someone on here complained that it stretched too much, honestly if anything it doesn’t stretch enough. But it’s laying on a flat surface so it’s perfect for what it is. I installed it on my accent wall in my kitchen and I absolutely love it! Want to add a little extra oomph to your room this is it.
