The Textured Shiplap Ultra White is a peel-and-stick, removable, wall and surface covering that is easy to apply, reposition and remove. Simply peel and stick onto a smooth, primed and painted wall or surface that is in good condition. Or try it on a door, furniture or accent piece. It is perfect for small projects. One roll will transform a 27.5 sq. ft. area. Product works best when applied to eggshell, satin and semi-gloss paints. Applications to flat paints and textured surfaces not recommended. Made in the U.S.A. Pattern repeat:20.5 inches x 20 inches.
I used this wallpaper for my mudroom. I read all the reviews about difficult installation but was still up for the challenge because I needed some interest for the walls in my mudroom. Was it a pain to line up the lines for each roll? Yes. Did the product hold up well when I tinkered to get it just right? Yes. Was it worth it! 100%. Getting loads of compliments on how great the wallpaper looks in the room. Like other reviews, I made sure my rolls had the same lot number product before installing.
I wanted to add a little accent wall behind our bed so I decided to try the peel and stick wallpaper. Figured it would be easy and less expensive than real wallpaper. I must say It was very time consuming but the over all project was worth it! Plus it was quality time with my husband! :-)
I only needed 2-3 rolls but after seeing that some people got a variety of lot numbers, I ordered 7 with plans to return the extras. Of that seven, only one roll was a different lot number. When putting it up, I recommend cutting it into smaller sections so that they are easier to manage. You will have additional lines in your wall where they meet though. I was surprised at how nicely the wallpaper unstuck to itself when I accidentally let it touch together. I also was able to put it on, take it off many times over and over again without it losing its stickiness. I'm taking two stars off because it is so incredibly thin. It shows every since tiny flaw in your wall. Flaws I didn't even know I had. Every little bump or chip. If it overlaps itself, it shows. The best way to try to hide the lines where the wallpaper meets is to not let it overlap. You def have to take your time and go super slow. I wound up using almost two full rolls for the area I put it on. It looks good from far, but up close it looks thin and you can see those wall flaws more than when it was just paint on the wall. I guess when I read that it was textured, I assumed it would be thicker than it is.
i really liked this! however, i only did the bottom half of the walls in a bathroom, so a very small area. it took me less than 2 hours to complete the install, the majority of the time spent installing around the toilet. i was surprised by the nice quality, it’s definitely not shiplap, it’s definitely faux shiplap, but it was a great quick fix/update for this bathroom. i have very textured walls & this was not recommended, however it looks pretty good. each wall has two seams, you can’t really see them.
Ordered 2 rolls online, after I measured and cut them I realized they weren’t from the same lot number. Found a target 20 minutes from me that had 2 rolls from the same lot number, the lines still wouldn’t line up. The stuff is impossible to line up correctly. Looks nice but I wasted 2.5 rolls to just get 3/4 of a wall done and I can’t afford anymore.
You definitely need a lot of patience for this type of project. But the end result was good. Just make sure to watch some tutorials on YouTube for some extra tips that really helps. I love the texture it has on the wallpaper to because we have textured walls it worked out great.
Loved the design, subtle with a slight shimmer. It was easy to line up and apply. I used it on the wall behind my bed and it adds contrast to the rest of the room which is painted. I only wish the lines were slightly less perfect; I wish they were a little uneven to mimic real shiplap. But I highly recommend it.
I purchased this two of the same lot # and still didn't line up. It was extremely difficult and so frustrating trying to get this done. It's beautiful and love the texture but don't recommend unless you have lots of patience!
