Q: Does this remove both chemical and zinc based sunscreen?

A: I use zinc based sunscreen, and this works. But definitely double cleanse to remove all sunscreen/makeup from the face.

I use this when I double cleanse, effectively removes my sunscreen. I personally only use mascara and eyeliner. It does a great job:) I also like that it's sold at Target. No need to order overseas

Rinses perfectly with water but really breaks down my makeup. I love the feel and smell and how literally nothing stays on my face after using this. I have also used it to remove wig glue from my hair and it truly helps me break everything down. I am on my second bottle and my skin really feels much cleaner and better.

I never run out because I make sure to keep extras on hand. I use it every day, at least once. Sometimes twice. It removes every trace of makeup, including mascara and eyeliner. Leaves my skin feeling soft and has never cause any breakouts or oily skin issues.

I have been using this cleansing oil since 2008 and I will probably use it until the day I die. I love that it works as a makeup remover or just as a regular first-step cleanser. It leaves my face feeling soft and clean, and I even use it on my neck/chest area as well - it makes an immediate difference when I use it on my chest. The skin feels way softer after using the cleansing oil there.

Does a great job taking off make up including mascara. I use a damp (warm) cotton pad with remover on it to tackle that mascara. Then use a warm damp cloth with remover on face to remove face make up. Rinse well. You might want to follow up with cleanser but I don’t usually unless I want to exfoliate at that time. Been using this for YEARS!

Been using this cleansing oil for over 20 years! I’ve tried others but keep come back to this one. It has a pleasant scent and rinses clean with no residue. Removes all makeup, even waterproof mascara. THE BEST!!

This is the ONLY face wash I’ve used for years. It cleans beautifully, even easily dissolving waterproof mascara. My skin is so healthy. No one guesses my age. I’m almost 60 but typically get anywhere from 35 to 45. I love this wash.

I travel for work and this size bottle is perfect for long flights when I want to wash my face after getting off the plan. I’ve never had issue with bottle breaks or leaks and it works as well as the full size bottle I have at home. This is perfect for anyone who is obsessed with miniature size things as the bottle looks just like the big one only 1/6 of the size. Throw one in your travel bag/purse and leave it in there… it’ll come in handy more often than you think.

I’ve been using this product for over ten years. Nothing is as effective, gentle and moisturizing as this oil cleanser. I’ve tried other “comparable” brands, but honestly they don’t match the quality and value you get from DHC. The oil cleanser removes stubborn eye makeup and mascara but isn’t harsh on my long (yet baby fine) eyelashes. Leaves skin feeling so soft after use. Would recommend to anyone.
