A: I use zinc based sunscreen, and this works. But definitely double cleanse to remove all sunscreen/makeup from the face.

This is my new go to cleanser for the evenings. Especially in the winter using a regular cleanser dries out my skin too much. This is perfect to take the dirt of the day off my face without drying it out. Additionally, it's not strongly scented (if at all) so it's sensory friendly.

So I came across a tiktok that told me I needed to buy this & since I’m always looking for things to hydrate my skin - I figured I’d give it a try! It’s very nice, gets everything off my skin. I go in with a AHA/BHA toner after and theirs literally nothing on the white toner pad after I cleanse with this. I love that you use it on dry skin too because nothing is worse than standing at the sink and having to rinse your face! 😅 I just wipe this off with a warm wash cloth then use my toner, and do the rest of my night routine.

I used this a while back but I do not remmeber being impresed; I repurchased this time around due to my usual make-up remover changing formulas. I've been using this oil since I discovered it when I lived in Japan over 40 years ago and I will never be without it. It goes on as oil, dissolves and removes every trace of makeup, then rinses off completely with no oil left behind, just soft, perfectly clean skin. My skin is extremely sensitive so I have to be very cautious about the products I use and this has never caused any reaction whatsoever. I recently gifted my adult daughter a bottle of this and she said "My skin has NEVER felt this clean!" I always keep a spare bottle on hand and if it goes on sale I buy more. Can't recommend highly enough; thank you DHC!

I’ve been buying the deep cleaning oil for over 10 years. I’ve tried other options and keep coming back to this double cleanse method and specifically the deep oil cleanser. I have combination skin which is still prone to pimples, but also dry patches! It works well to gently remove makeup. Highly recommend this in combination with the other DHC cleansers. There is a good reason this is a cult favorite.

Rinses perfectly with water but really breaks down my makeup. I love the feel and smell and how literally nothing stays on my face after using this. I have also used it to remove wig glue from my hair and it truly helps me break everything down. I am on my second bottle and my skin really feels much cleaner and better.
