I used to have horrible skin, and everything that I tried would never do anything except for make it worse. I would even go get facials trying to make my skin better. Then I found Differin. It has worked miracles on my skin.
Works well alone but better with adapelene

My skin is sensitive and I get acne from everything including monthly hormonal changes, food allergies and my work environment, etc. Lonnng sigh lol. I have used Kojie Acid Soap off & on for years and it worked but lately it seems to not be as effective especially on the allergies acne. I saw this and took a chance because of the price and I can find it anywhere in the country. I started using the adapelene gel at night. It was great but, it doesn’t work well on spot treatments so I added this one (benzoyl peroxide) in the daytime and that’s when I saw the biggest improvements in my acne and dark spots. I do still wash day and night with Kojie Acid. I only use my face cream in the daytime. I also started back dermaplaning once a month.
Finally, something that worked

This product was a Godsend for me. I am in my mid 20s and have not struggled with acne since I was in my early teens, but all of a sudden my skin started breaking out horribly with no apparent cause. I religiously used products containing salicylic acid & benzyl peroxide for months with no improvement whatsoever. My skin just got extremely dry and more red and irritated. I decided to switch things up and stumbled upon this product online. My skin started significantly clearing up after only about a week of use. Yes, I did go through retinization, and my face got very dry/red/flaky at first, but I quickly adjusted and have been using it every night since. I have been clear of breakouts for around 6 months aside from the very occasional 1 or 2 blemishes that still pop up here or there. My only complaint is that my skin is now extremely sensitive to the sun, and often feels like it's sunburnt when outside, even if the sun is not shining directly on it - and yes I am an avid sunscreen user. This sensation has lessened a bit over time, and isn't severe enough to make me stop using the product. I will always swear by it.
Use this and nothing else

So far I’ve been on it for exactly a month, my skin is dry. Very dry and new acne keeps showing up. My skin is really red now and pretty sensitive. I think I might take a break for a week and see how it goes. So far it’s not helping and it’s been making my acne worse than it was.

I have sensitive skin and this was recommended to me for my acne. I used it as directed for three weeks and it ruined my skin. At first it was fine but by week two my entire skin burned severely. Just splashing room temperature water on my face stings extremely bad now. Even my eye lids somehow became inflamed and the skin began to flake though I wasn’t applying the gel anywhere near them. I discontinued using the product and now I’m having to undergo a painful recovery process.
This saved my face

I can’t thank this product enough. When covid started and had to wear mask 12 hours a day on summer, my face suffered terrible breakouts and nothing solved but this. I rebought it again this summer because of some hormonal issues and my face is way better. I am sure I will buy it again next year
It really works!

Wonderful product. Has helped clear up acne after using it for a few months. I like the pump bottle. It is easy to apply and you don’t need much! My skin was a little dry and sensitive at first, but now it’s working great for me! I use it after washing my face, underneath a good moisturizer.
Good for reg acne and pores, not as good with hormonal acne

It's okay, it definitely helps me with blackheads but it barely helps with everything else. With combination skin, it dried me out a lot. I wouldn't recommend applying it everywhere, mostly for spot treatments, but it didn't work well with hormonal acne.

I accidentally rubbed the smallest amount on my eye lid, and now the skin around my eyes is so sensitive. It’s been WEEKS and I can’t wear eyeshadow or eyeliner without it burning. I stopped the treatment over a month ago when I woke up with severely puffy, red eyes. I thought it was pink eye, it was so bad. I stopped use of the gel, applied hydrocortisone, and it got a little better. I finally started wearing a little bit of makeup, and my eyes are so swollen all over again. I hope this goes away, I had zero issues before I used this God forsaken gel.
Effective!

I’ve been using Differin Gel for a while now, and I appreciate its effectiveness in treating acne and improving my skin’s texture. The packaging is user-friendly, allowing for precise application, which I really like. While the scent is minimal and not bothersome, the gel itself has a lightweight texture that absorbs quickly into my skin. In terms of value for money, it’s quite good, especially considering the results. However, I did find that it took a long time to see significant improvements, and it also dried out my skin quite a bit. Overall, Differin Gel has worked for me, but it requires some patience and proper hydration to balance its drying effects.

Like the title says, this is it and I've tried everything from peels to light therapy to every product that is marketed towards clearing acne. You just have to give it time to work. It's not going to clear your acne overnight or transform your skin over the course of weeks. You might peel or purge at first, thankfully only the former for me...but that was easily solved with a good moisturizer and it's worth it. After a few months, I was able to use this with just a peptide serum/hyularonic acid and my skin has never in my life looked better. I've tried a few other adapalene products and for some reason, Differin works best on my skin. I'm assuming it's the formula. I would recommend this to anyone with cystic acne.

I had a prescription for adapelene gel, which is basically what this made of, granted i had a stronger dosage bit as I got older I needed it less and less. That's why I started using this now, and the results are pretty similar... definitely recommend if you get breakouts and are prone to scarring after.

I had a terrible reaction to this stuff. From day one my skin itched/burned so severely that it was all I could do not to rub sandpaper against it. I figured it was just part of the process and I should tough it out, but on day 9 my skin had the tight, shiny look that happens after a bad burn, and I decided it wasn't for me. Lord knows I already have enough acne scars, don't need burn scars as well. By then, the itching had spread to places I'd never applied the gel, down my neck and arms, etc. I know it's not common to have this type of reaction, so please don't let this sway you if it looks like Differin might really help you out. Just wanted to share my experience in case others find themselves in the same boat. I'm happy to say that 24 hours after stopping it, my skin is no longer itchy. And so the quest for the right acne treatment continues ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Differin Gel helps remove and prevent acne and blackheads effectively. Daily use helps improve the skin most clearly. The product has a light scent and a gel texture that is easy to apply to the skin.

Recommended by my dermatologist for dark spots, but it takes a while to see results. Too early for a realistic review.

It broke me out SOOOOO bad when I used it. I had inflamed pimples all the time when using this product. It never cleared my skin, just made it worst. Wouldn’t recommend and would never pick up again.
