Differin Acne Retinoid Treatment Gel Adapalene 0.1%

I went through a brief stage in my life where self care was nonexistent. My skin was horrible and I contribute Differin to helping with closed comedones and acne. The first weeks were pretty brutal. I was dry constantly, but I knew that would happen, so I purchased cicaplast balm. Even then, my skin was peeling constantly, but luckily not irritated. Results take a long time to see big results. I will continue to use it just because it is a highly loved by Dr. Dray and I trust that queen with my face.

The texture is gel like and has no scent. This has been a part of my skin regime for about six months and have seen a great difference in my skin. This product is reasonably priced and the packaging simple.

Great over the counter option versus Tretinoin. It is effective and not as irritating. My skin couldn’t tolerate Tretinoin but did better with Differin. Remember to not use too often or it will cause a lot of irritation.

It’s a great over-the-counter retinoid with solid results at a reasonable price point.

DO NOT USE. I do not have sensitive skin. I can literally try any skincare product and never have an issue. This caused a complete allergic reaction to my skin that sent me to urgent care. Absolutely horrible!

this works but you have to get your skin used to it, start by using it on top of moisturized skin once a week, then slowly increase to 3x a week, then slowly add to clean dry skin, simplify the rest of skin care as this will make skin sunburn or more sensitive. Give it time but in 6-8 weeks skin will b clear, spots fade. I’m able to even use it to clear milia and very close to my eyes but have used it for over 4 years. You dont need very much so just be patient. I also only use it 3x a week max since thats what works for my sensitive skin.

My son had acne from becoming a 16yo puberty driven boy and I decided to give this line a try seeing as it was dermatologist prescribed back in the day. Has cleared his skin up so much.

This did not do anything for my acne. I’m going back to my benzoyl peroxide cream.

This product works! I’ve always struggled with acne and while nothing will probably ever perfectly clear my skin, this has significantly helped. Keep in mind it’s going to bring everything you have to the surface, and you’re going to go through a stage where it gets worse before it gets better. It can be drying, I wouldn’t use it every 2-3 days especially to start off, and pair it with a good hydrating moisturizer.

If there is one product I would recommend it would be this one. I used to have little bumps all over my face. The first two photos were taken only two months before the last one and I’ve tried almost every other skin care product and nothing else worked. I only use benzoyl peroxide face wash, this adapalene gel, and then the good molecules moisturizer. If you have acne you need to try this.

My skin has pretty much completely cleared up. I no longer have the desire to pick at everything. I still get the occasional pimple or breakout but definitely a lot less. I also use an panoxyl face wash with it. My skin was looking the worst it ever had in December within two weeks of this combo it had clear up.

This product has been amazing for my acne prone skin. My favorite product to use for spot treatment. It also works great under a pimple patch. A little goes a long way, so the tube lasts me months.

This product does work, however it states in the instructions to use daily. I do not recommend daily use as it does make the skin super sensitive. After a few days my skin felt irritated, dry, thin and very sensitive to touch. Also, if you get brow waxes do not use this product for at least a week or more before your wax. I was using daily and ended up getting burns from the wax because I did not realize it was this product making my skin senstive.

Never had anything that worked this well on my face. A great product with great functional packaging and comfortable to use - just be mindful to wash your hands after as I’ve noticed some staining on towels and tops

I use the uk version of differin so that’s why it might look different but I would actually die for this product. I had really bad acne and my doctor prescribed this to me and within months my acne was gone. In the image is the before and after like this product has change my life and I’m not saying that to be cringe it for real has. I literally recommend this product to everyone I know that suffers from acne like you need this. Plus it has anti ageing benefits too. My only down side is that I can’t seem to tan much on my face anymore which sucks but I would rather not have any acne tbh.

Differin is usually the least expensive of the adapalene gels available, so I tend to stick with it. I use this nightly because my skin is used to this and other treatments - if you have oily skin and can stand lots of chemical exfoliating, you may have the same experience. I use about a pea sized amount and spread it thin all across my face because it does a great job at preventing acne and fine lines/wrinkles.

This product is really good and worth the price. It works extremely well for my acne and is excellent at preventing it before it happens. It is lovely and carries no heavy fragrance
