I was a huge fan of them the first month or so, but over time I could tell the quality isn't quite as top notch as I had hoped. They are also impossible to clean well. With young kiddos this was ultimately a let down for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love these new placemats. We have a nice wooden table we try to protect and these are sturdy enough to do the job but also look great in our spanish home. The pompom fringe is also a nice touch. The blue is soft and not too bright.

The table was a gift and although beautiful it has never really felt like us until now. We updated chairs, the base or the table, and added these beautiful placemats! I am so happy with them I plan to look for other Design Import options!

They are made of 100% Jute and are very easy to clean with just a damp cloth and water. Great quality material is used and the colors are vibrant yet elegant. A great addition to any place setting. I would recommend to anyone that wants to make their table setting look elegant and beautiful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They look good for special occassions. One of them had a very light print while others had dark print overall. The material is jute so i would not wash it in the washer but instead just damp dry it if needed.

I love the natural jute fibers with the beautiful blue block print mandala on them. The have a very nice relaxed feel to them. The are the perfect size for being placemats or even a cute accent center piece. They come in a set of six, so you can get creative if you have some spare ones. The are super lightweight. To clean them you just shake them out and lightly brisk them with a sponge. The really create a beautiful ambiance to my home.

They're really light and seem easy to clean but if you have a wood table be ready for these to move around a lot just due to the kind of material it's made from (jute).

I have a grey counter height farm table for our kitchen table. The placements give it a finishing touch while complementing the grey. I use 4 as place setting and then the remaining 2 when I am setting dinner on the table so that the tabletop is protected. I really like how it makes the table feel finished and pulled together.

I actually have placed them all around, one is on my coffee table, another is under my speaker, etc. They add a lot without being too overpowering. They are a little thin material wise, but well made and consistent. I am obsessed with the vibe they add and can't wait to gather them all together for my next dinner party!

I only gave it for stars because when I spilled something in it and tried to clean it I noticed some of the blue coming off, and since the color is so vivid it fading would definitely be a draw back. Hopefully they don't fade too much!!

The colors are pretty muted. The decorative border tends to get folded under. And finally they are super large. They dont fit well on our table. Sadly a miss!

They are made of 100% jute and maybe that’s why they smell. I don’t know. I sprayed them with fabric spray but they still stink and they say not to wash them just spot clean otherwise I would wash. I haven’t used them because I can’t get pass the smell so I may hand wash them and see what happens.
