It’s fairly comfortable and room good for walking. I don’t think it will last more than 1 season but for dress up it would be pretty decent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the chance to dress up as The Little Mermaid for Halloween this year, and while the costume was a size medium, I'm a bit more on the curvy side, so getting it on was initially a bit of a challenge. Thankfully, the stretchy, expandable material worked with my shape, and after a little adjusting, it fit pretty comfortably. The quality was about what you'd expect from Spirit Halloween costumes—not the best, but definitely manageable for a fun night out. I did notice the fabric sat a little awkwardly at my waist from the back, likely because I carry more weight in my hips, but overall, it wasn’t too noticeable. I topped it off with a wig, which gave the outfit an extra touch and made it look like I put a lot of effort into it (even though it was super easy)! All in all, a cute, simple costume that worked with just a few adjustments!

Sadly, I have to rate this three stars because it arrived with the seam torn at the “fishtail” part of the costume and a partially unattached piece of Velcro in back. I can fix this myself but some wouldn’t want to bother with it. Overall, this is aesthetically a lovely Ariel costume. I especially like the sequin details, but the quality is lacking.

But can we discuss just how cute this is! It has Velcro to attach the back so it’s easy to put on and off. So far it seems like it’s pretty well made as well, so I cannot wait to wear it for Halloween!
