Q: Are they compostable? Recyclable?

A: Hello, this is the customer response team at Georgia-Pacific. These plates are not compostable but, Dixie plates may be recycled when clean and dry. So, when deciding whether to recycle or toss, remember—if you ate a dry, mess-free meal like a quick sandwich and chips, just dust off those crumbs and dispose of the plate in the recycling bin. If you ate a messy, saucy meal that left grease stains on the plate, then dispose of it in the trash. Be sure to check acceptance with your local recycling program. Thank you.

I love that you can just eat and then not have to worry about cleanup. Like the colorful design, and especially love that they ate compostable. I can throw it in my compost box and not worry about adding garbage to the environment. Will definitely be buying these again!

The design of the plates are simple and pretty. The size of the plates were large enough for my meals. They were made sturdy and overall awesome quality! One of the foods that I put on it was my In-n-Out burger and fries. Yum! It feels great to not have to wash dishes!

In my photo is hot BLT leftovers that I put in the toaster oven. I was waiting for the food to cool before putting the veg back on. These plates hold up well to warmed up food. I also use these in my classroom for parties and birthdays to keep all my student’s snacks in one place.

My family used them to eat out on our deck a few times. They worked well for my kids because they are small, but my husband needed a larger plate for his portions.
