About the Author

Philip Steele is the author of many nonfiction books for children. He has worked for publishers such as Dorling Kindersley, Quarto, HarperCollins, Macmillan, and numerous others. He regularly attends the London Book Fair.John Farndon is a London-based writer who studied earth sciences at England's Cambridge University and has taken a keen interest in the natural world ever since.
