Good flavor, ample gravy, generous portions, but what is this "meat"? It doesn't look, smell or taste like anything I've ever tried. Kinda tough and dark looking.

It doesn't look like much in the bowl when you go to heat it up. It's pretty good, but a pretty small helping. I added mixed veggies I had in the freezer(broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower) there was enough meat, gravy and potatoes. Adding the cup or so of veggies made it more filling. One thing I really liked is I coukd put it in the oven. IMO things just taste better from the oven. So it's nice you can use microwave, or the oven.
There are better options availabke.

The meat wasn’t terrible, but the vegetables had a metallic taste. Also, the gravy wasn’t something I liked. I love pot roast, even canned stew can be good. This wasn’t.

I thought it was absolutely delicious. Gravy was really yummy and savory, I scraped the bowl. Pretty reasonably priced for a decent portion and very tasty food. It filled me up. Thanks dolly love you
