Not the same - Change it back!
Been using Dove deodorant since the product was created Loved that the Original Scent matched the soap, which I’ve been using since I was a baby. I’ve been using this formula for years because it goes on smooth and works well. Used the “72hr” formula for the first time and immediately noticed the difference in smell - it’s not the original clean even though it says it is. It smells floral. That alone makes me not want to use it again, but I definitely won’t use it again because it gave me a rash. My skin is not sensitive and the itchiness was so bad, I had to shower to scrub the product off. I wish they hadn't changed the ingredients.

For two decades, this was my go-to. The clean scent wasn't overpowering and the product was long-lasting. This last batch I bought, which I'm now learning isn't just a "batch" - rather a changed product, stinks like the chemicals are trying too hard to smell like the original and just comes off as awful. It says "48 hour" protection, but in reality I'm lucky if it lasts 8. I could see maybe 24 hours with the old product, but this is just laughable in terms of lasting power. The packaging says one thing, but the product doesn't live up to it; it is definitely not an improvement. Please change it back!!

Rash from new formulation
I've been using this Deodorant for years, I started using it when Sure changed their ingredients & it bought me out in a rash. The new formulation Dove has now bought me out in a rash so will have to start looking for a new deodorant eerrhh!

What did you do to such a good deodorant you change the active ingredient and it doesn’t work as well and it stinks to high heaven. I cannot use it anymore cause I have migraines and it just reeks of perfume.

Terrible New Smell
I am a long term Dove deodorant user of the original clean scent. I used the regular base formula for years until Dove changed the formula in 2023. Then I switched to advanced care because the base formula no longer worked as an antiperspirant. I've been using the advanced care product since then. I noticed in the last several purchases that the scent has been changed. There is no notification on the packaging of a formula change either. Initially, I thought I just got a bad batch, but the change has persisted. The new scent is so strong that I had to wash my armpits and could still smell it all day. Yuck. I now have to look for a new deodorant which is so disappointing as I loved the previous scent. If you go back to the old scent, I hope you will advertise it because I will switch back, but I cannot tolerate the new scent. It's terrible.

I've used Dove Original Clean for many years. When I opened my latest purchase I immediately noticed the fragrance was different and the color was different. After using it, I had an allergic reaction. I looked at the label and saw that the formula had changed. It now contains Limonene, a citrus derivative. I am allergic to citrus. There was no indication on the package that the formula had been changed. I'm forced to say goodbye to Dove because it appears that now ALL your deodorant products contain Limonene. A notification on the package of a formula change should be mandatory.

Used to be fantastic deodorant and antiperspirant
I’ve been using this product for years. I hate strong scents and would prefer something completely unscented, but this product has been a great, subtle-y scented deodorant that works pretty well as an antiperspirant for me, too. A few months ago, they changed the formula somehow, and the scent is overpoweringly strong. Plus, the smell isn’t even the same scent it used to be. In addition, I feel this product does not provide the same antiperspirant power it used to. I hope they go back to the original or re-vamp it with a stronger anti perspirant and a less noticeable scent.

Been using “Dove advance care original scent” for as long as I can remember due to the no scent or light subtle scent. However my new one smells so strong I can smell it all day long. Please go back to the original one as this is a huge no 😔

I was pretty apprehensive before buying this product. I do love Doves line of shower crèmes ect. My go to deodorant was Nivea whitening underarm. A little background, I'm a bigger girlie so I'm of course paranoid about being sweaty and/or smelly. Well I used this deodorant today in the scent cucumber. First of all, super light and pleasant fresh scent. Secondly, it's pretty hot here in the Midwest this week and I have been outside. This hasn't budged. I haven't gotten damp or wet in my under arms. I have smelled the cucumber scent ALL DAY. I LOVE IT!! It goes on smooth. A little goes a long way. Thank you Dove!

Something has changed
I have been using this product for years. This was one of the deodorants that did not have a strong odor. I believe the formula has changed because it has a strong odor now. I was so disappointed.

FRAGRANCE TOO STRONG
As a deodorant and antiperspirant, it works. I've used it for years. I recently purchased a new stick. I was blown away by how strong the fragrance was. PLEASE go back to the original level and type of fragrance. Fragrance is already suspect, in that it's constituent ingredients are not identified on the packaging and may be carcinogenic. Why so strong? Ick.

Really works
I use to use suave till one day I had a coupon for dove deodorant. So I was like y not I love the soap. Well now it's the only thing I buy even without a coupon cuz it keeps me feeling fresh all day. And I might be a female but I do construction, out in the sun and I really get to smelling. After I put that on and did a good days work. I still smell good and no one runs from me anymore lol have to try it out

Aluminum in my Dove
I was on vacation and needed to buy a small size product in an emergency this. Dove was a product. I thought I could trust. But much to my surprise, the number one ingredient Aluminum!

It’s was ok.
Scent was good I trusted this brand I always buy shampoo and hand wash and bar soap but this time I bought deodorant dry spray I kind of didn’t like that much. I’m not going to buy again. Price was not even cheap. And good thing about dove it has less chemical’s.
