Unlike ordinary bar soap, the Dove Beauty Bar is made with 1/4 moisturizing cream to deeply nourish skin and help prevent dryness. Definitely for Sensitive Skin!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar is my new go to! Thank you Influenster for letting me try it for free! I absolutely love it and look forward to adding this to my beauty routine! The bar itself is a good size. I used it as a face soap, hand soap and a body soap to test it out, but I think I prefer it as a face and body soap because I do have sensitive skin and this wasn't irritating in any sort of way. There is hardly any scent to the soap, which is great. Sometimes fragrances irritate my skin, so this was perfect! The lather is super luxurious too! You get a whole lot of bubbles, for just a little bit of lather! It wasn't drying, and it felt very nourishing. Some other brands of soaps seem to leave a layer of soap scum behind, but I didn't feel any sort of product buildup with this bar. It's amazing! Thanks again! I'm in love with this!!

Awful new formula change
Why did you have to change this product? No one asked for this. The new product smells like chemicals and does not rinse off like it used to. I will no longer be buying this, and I am devastated to have to replace yet another much-loved product due to product changes. How can this be the most recommended dermatologist soap when the formula has changed? So disappointed in Dove.

Great product - Sensitive and unscented

I have very hard water and most products leave my skin extremely dry. This product has a clean feel and is moisturizing. I like that they have a sensitive bar soap but I do prefer the smell of the original bar soap instead of the unscented. It’s great they have unscented as my mother could not use fragrances when going through cancer treatments. I highly recommend.

But with the newer batches, I’ve noticed a strange, almost technical smell that wasn’t there before. It also feels like the formula changed, because it now dries out my skin, which never happened with the older bars. I’m disappointed, because this used to be perfect for sensitive skin. The performance of this bar has changed for me — it still cleans well, but the newer batches feel harsher and more drying than before. I’ve also noticed a slight residue left on the skin, which never used to happen. The packaging is still clean, simple, and practical, but I wish the formula inside matched the quality of the packaging.

New formula, stay away from this product. No longer suitable for sensitive skin. Soap has given me the worse case of eczema and itchyness. I've been using this soap for over 8 years, no longer spending any money on Dove products. No notice or warning of a ingredients.

Way to go. You guys sold out and cheaped out too. Now you are selling sensitive soap with a new formula that is in fact not sensitive- causing allergy and skin reaction. Weird chemical smell to new ‘formula’. So sad. Can’t trust anything nowadays. I used the real sensitive dove soap for 10 years. Trash.
