Horrible, awful smell. I don’t know how anyone finds this scent to be appealing. It literally smells like rotting animal soaked in perfume to me… I don’t get “ocean mist” at all. The smells is so strong and I have had to wash and soak this one load of clothes in water/vinegar multiple times like many other reviewers here have said. This was my first time trying downy boost beads and I am not at all impressed. Definitely false advertising to say this is “light”!

I absolutely love the smell of this Downy light laundry scent booster beads! The ocean sent missed is very clean and light. I love to use it on my towels, bedding, and kitchen towels! I also have used it in my wax warmers. The only thing I do not like is the bottle itself.! I have small hands therefore it’s very hard for me to hold onto the bottle or grasp it. I wish they would redesign the bottle to make it easier to hold for small hands.!

If you like the ocean mist scent of rinse and refresh DO NOT GET THIS. This is strongly baby powdery and smells NOTHING like the rinse and refresh which is leaving me very confused… it’s like a completely different scent.

My mom suggested this product to me and it’s the holy grail of not just fresh, clean smelling laundry but also the softest fabric softener! I’m seriously so impressed with these downy booster beads. I use it on all of my bed linens, curtains and towels. A little goes a long way so this is well worth its price.
