About the Author

Silvia Cheung was born and raised in the culturally diverse city of Hong Kong. As a child, one of her favorite activities was watching Japanese cartoons. After receiving her college degree in graphic design at FIDM in Los Angeles, she worked as an artist and designer for a number of major companies in children's apparel and home fashion creating many best sellers in the children's market. Through those years, she discovered her strength in character design and passion in children's illustrations. Nowadays, her clients range from publishers and toy designers, to game and app developers. Her works include children's books, iPad apps, ebooks, puzzle games and greeting cards. She finds her inspiration from people, travels, movies, food and even from her chubby kitty cat, Tiger! Her artwork is packed with bright colors, happiness and humor. Silvia currently lives in sunny Los Angeles, California and is represented by the brilliant Lemonade Illustration Agency. Her goal is to continue spreading happiness to children and those kids at heart through her arts!
