Q: This plant comes with a band around the pot that says "self watering plant." Can someone please explain what that means? Obviously someone actually has to add water, no?

I bought this on Wednesday and it’s Saturday. The plant is dying already. I checked the soil and it’s completely drenched and roots are rotted. What a waste of money.
