I started using this product about 2 months ago. Every time I use it people tell me how nice and full my hair looks. I have thinning hair and you can see down to the scalp in some areas. Since using this it looks like I am wearing a topper. I highly recommend this product. It really works and is worth every cent.

I started using this a couple of years ago when it first came out. A little goes a long way so it lasted me about a year. I ran out and didn't buy again. Wasn't sure it really worked. 6 months went by and my hair started looking thinner and lifeless. Couldn't figure out why, but read an article that said if you were unhappy with your hair, look back at a picture when you were happy with it. Then go back to that regimen. So that is what I did and I re-purchased it. Within the month, I could visibly see an improvement in my hair.

I apply it, by putting a dime size on my finger and use a little at a time to spread on my scalp. Then,spread to rest of hair. When I followed the video, it was way too much. l don't have model hair as always demonstrated in Drybar aids!

I got the sample size product in a free Ulta gift so figured id give it a try. My hair is fine, medium length, and wavy from a perm i had about a year ago. It definitely made my hair appear thicker. I actually love the way it made my waves appear extremely full and beautiful. Thats the only reason this got an extra star from me. I hated the way my hair felt after use, i applied to the scalp while my hair was damp, in sections per the instructions. It absorbs quickly so i was confident it wouldnt make my hair feel like straw like other thickening treatments have. I blow dried my hair and thats when i noticed the texture was sooo gross feeling. As i put the comb through it, i could just feel the breakage. My hair felt like straw, just like i feared it would. So i used a bubble wand after blow drying to try and save my experience and while my waves look great, i would never use this product again. I can barely get my fingers through my hair thats how awful the feeling and texture is. My hair feels so heavy. I would use the drybar thickening spray over this product, and thats saying something because i didnt care much for the spray either. Overall, just beware. I know those of us with finer or thinner hair would love to have that extra volume, but not at the expense of the breakage and texture issues with this product.

A couple of years ago I started noticeably losing hair and thinning out. I thought it was a new medication at first, but since I'm still struggling with it, I'm guessing it's hormones/age/genetics at this point. (I have consulted a dermatologist and that was the gist of what they told me as well) My hair strands are very fine and silky, so mix that with an overall thinning of density you get FLAT, lifeless hair. I have spent so much money on styling products over the last few years and nothing worked. I decided to give this one a try, because why not? I have nothing to lose (except more hair LOL). WOW....just wow. This stuff actually works. I apply a small amount, maybe pea sized, to my fingertips and massage it in my scalp that way, working it through to the ends. It's a very thick cream, so I was hesitant at first thinking it would make my hair greasy and even more lifeless. But it makes my hair SO soft and actually FEELS thicker, without a gross residue feeling. After blow drying and finishing with my heated round brush, you can actually see the hair isn't sitting directly on my scalp at the roots. The strands feel thicker and the style just lasts longer. Now, if it's windy out, nothing is going to save my hair. But this stuff is by far the best styling product I've tried. It also says that continued use over time improves hair follicle health resulting in less shedding. I will say I've been using it consistently for over a week now, and this may be a coincidence, but I can notice I'm definitely shedding less hair in the shower. Less than I have in a very very long time. If you're struggling, give this stuff a try! If you don't like it, at least you can return it at Ulta.

Just like all the other thickening creams, gels, and sprays that I have tried, it left my hair full of static and dry and brittle. I tried it three days in a row then took it back for a refund.

This gives me the volume and height I want. I have fine, blonde hair. I use it with other products and since I have starte this one my hair has perked up and it has hight and volume.

I cannot say enough about Big Brew. It has completely transformed my hair. My stylist even noticed the difference. She said my hair is so much thicker than it was before. I am 47 years old and have been using this product for about a year now. I use a dime size after washing and conditioning my hair. I even bought some for my mom. She is 72. Her hair was really thinning at the crown of her head. Huge difference now. LOVE it! Cannot recommend enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In now world should you follow the instructional video. Unless that chick has hair like an otter, there's no way that amount is necessary. I used far less and still had super gross hair afterward. It didn't make my hair feel or look fuller, just kinda gunky. Not a win for me.

I haven’t tried any Drybar products before but I got a sample and it was absolutely perfect for my hair. I have a lot of trouble finding products that agree with my naturally curly hair, but every time I use this after wetting my hair my curls are perfect every time!

I have just above my shoulders length hair. I'm naturally dirty blond and have full head highlights. I have fine, thin hair. I use about a dime size amount. I don't section off my hair as per directions though. I rub it into my hands and then massage into my scalp all over and pull it through all my hair. I comb it through after that too, then blow dry. It works decently when it's the only styling product I use, but I get better results when I use this and a bit of plumping mousse. I don't personally don't think it does anything to combat frizz, at least not on my hair. It helps hold your style in your hair like hairspray but without any sticky. This really isn't a product for ladies who are still menstruating age fyi.

Unfortunately this is one product I would not buy again. Makes hair greasy looking. Even when using a minimal amount.

I have very fine, thin hair and not a lot of it. I wanted this to work so bad based on some reviews, but it didnt hit for me. It was WAY too thick and weighed my hair down (it felt like glue), and also had a really weird smell. Hope it worked for some people but it was not for me. :(

Didn't add volume. Made hair frizzy and had a residue. I returned this.
