A: the Duke's website FAQ page says "Duke's is not GMO-free." most soybean oil and vinegar is GMO unless it is labeled organic or GMO-free

Q: I ordered several bottles of Dukes mayo to be delivered to my home in arizona. When the bottles arrived they were warm. Is the mayo still ok to eat?

A: They're fine, as long as they're still sealed. If they got hot enough to break the seal or bust the bottle (I understand Arizona heat), then they're probably no longer good.

I love Dukes mayonnaise but they don’t sell it where I live so I usually order it from another supplier. I ordered from Target and didn’t realize they ship with the slowest shipping method which during warm weather basically caused the mayonnaise to arrive spoiled/damaged. If you order, make sure it’s during the cooler months. Aside from the shipping fail…I love Dukes for my potato, egg, and tuna salads.

I was in Ottumwa Iowa visiting the Trinity Lutheran Church and was invited to stay for there breakfast potluck fellowship after the service. MY Story; the foods we out and and nice small buffet of finger foods breads etc. There was a bowl of homemade ham salad on the table , It was to die for! i sent a note around the tables asking this question "who made the the Ham Salad" it was interesting to watch the faces of the readers, i knew as soon as it arrived to its preparer who did this . We had a fun chat afterwards and she told me all about the recipe and how she has come to this area form the southern states .In a low secretive voice she shared the ingredient That makes the difference Duke's Mayo!I ordered as soon as i got home and have put it on everything, you Alabama sauce is right up there now on the list of go to in my home also. Nice job best wishes to all of you at Duke's Paul and Jean Meier DeKalb IL.

Recently every jar of Duke’s mayonnaise I buy taste yucky, not quite right and too, not as creamy....again, yucky. When Sauer sold the company I wondered if the recipe would be changed after all these years and I’m sure it has been. Maybe when sales drop you’ll understand . After at least 40 years of purchasing the stuff I’ll find another that taste good...It won’t be easy.
