Q: I ordered several bottles of Dukes mayo to be delivered to my home in arizona. When the bottles arrived they were warm. Is the mayo still ok to eat?

A: They're fine, as long as they're still sealed. If they got hot enough to break the seal or bust the bottle (I understand Arizona heat), then they're probably no longer good.

Duke's is the best so this former southerner orders it online from Target. I'm grateful it is available, but beware if you have it shipped! I've received it twice with 30-40 days left before expiration. This makes me furious because I order 3 at a time because of weather related shipping restrictions. My last order had 41 days before expiration on 3 jars of mayo. This expiration issue stinks but the Duke's will last in my pantry and will be used.

Had to order $35 of stuff to get shipped, when received it was EXPIRED 10/2022! Gross! Not only did I have to order more stuff than what I wanted at the time, but when I got it it was expired. The employees parking and shipping should be trained to check expirations of food items, luckily I am and caught if before it was opened and consumed by someone in our household. Even by looking at the product you can see that something was not right with it. It's hard and not fair to Duke's to rate because we couldn't even try it because of being expired and not safe after close to a year.

I ordered this in March 2023. When I wanted to use it in April 2023 I noticed it had expired in October 2022 meaning it was already 5 months out of date when sent to me. This is not Duke's fault and I would give more stars if I could but expired mayonnaise can be dangerous and Target should have checked their inventory before filling orders. If I bought this in a store I definitely would have passed on this jar but it was purc off the website so this was the jar that was sent to me.

Having grown up on Miracle Whip (yuck), and then Hellmann's mayo, I stumbled upon Duke's a few years ago. Duke's just tastes like the mayo that my grandma made from scratch. Try it spread on your fave bread with some sliced tomatoes warm from the garden. Maybe a dash of salt on the tomato slices. I don't buy any other mayo these days. It's Duke's or nothing.
