    No heat

    Bought the unit a couple months ago, and love the lights. I immediately tried the heater to see if it works while I still had the box, and it cranked right up. Two months later, with the cooler temps now here, heating unit will not turn on. I still get the light show but it isn’t worth $300. Not even close.

    Garbage

    Quit working after 6 months and about 2 dozen uses (if that). E3 code even though nothing blocking the vents and unit is spotless. Heater won’t engage. Now it’s just a pretty picture of moving flames.

    Very pretty, not working

    I only had this a month and a half and now it doesn’t work. I was really sad because it’s so pretty. I’m not sure what to do. I will be calling twin star for help.

    Same problem. Worked, then flickered out.

    This worked well for a little while. But then like so many other reporting on so many other websites, this thing push the button it flickered and then never came back again. Will not work from the remote or from the unit itself. There's clearly a defect in these models and they're still selling them to people like us. They profit and then don't stand behind them. Shame on you I would not recommend this to anybody! Save your money.

    2nd purchase.

    This is my 2nd heater purchase (June 2024). Set it up and turned on. Seemed good, I didn’t check the remote working though. This remote turns it on but nothing else. Contacting CSR to see what they can do.

    Giving 5 Stars because of the look and simplicity of setup. Perfect as supplemental heating source. So it’s everything it claims to be. I needed something stronger, so added another ceramic heater for 3 season room and the two work together perfectly

    Awesome fireplace!

    We ordered this Duraflame Infrared Electric Stove for our 3 season room. The flames are adjustable and look real. There is a blower that spreads the heat according to the temperature that we set it at. Best of all it has remote control! We love it!

    This is a wonderful little heater.

    I bought this for my basement office in 2021. It heated like a charm and is still working in my new house. I don’t know how those negative reviewers can carry on. This is a truly great buy!! A friend of mine loved mine and got one for her house in 2022 and uses it every day. A lovely little heater!!
