Description
Durvet's Psyllium pellets is exactly what your horses need for prevention from sand colic. These pellets are recommended for the removal of sand from colon and may reduce the possibility of sand colic in horses. These pellets work by swelling after absorbing water, psyllium increases bulk in the intestinal tract and is believed to induce peristalsis and increase mobility in the intestinal tract. In the treatment of sand colic, in horses, psyllium is thought to help collect sand and help lubricate its passage through the intestinal tract. Active ingredients: Psyllium seed husk. This 5lb pail will feed horses of all classes for up to 2 months.
