My wife and I were excited to get this as a Black Friday deal to complete our upstairs living room with this futon. it was light enough that I could carry it up the stairs by myself. Set up was also mostly easy with solid build design and simple hex screws and included hex wrench to connect the two halves of the futon base and legs (which can be stored in an underside pocket if you want the futon to sit on the floor.) However, it was extremely difficult to attach the cushions to the futon because they are connected by two sets of plastic strips that slide one into the other. Unfortunately, they slipped out of the lock or disconnected very easily so we were never able to get them to be fully attached or stay attached after spending almost an hour trying to do so, which was very disappointing. The futon also definitely was smaller than we expected it to be (the sitting portion), and more appropriate for children than adults, so others may find it more useful than we did for that purpose. Bottom line, if the cushion attachments had been easier to assemble and stay assembled, this would have been a decent piece of kids furniture.
