I was biased since I was expecting the Lip Oil to have a similar consistency and look to Elf’s Lip Gloss, but it had an interesting texture that I wasn’t a huge fan of. It also had a weird shine when someone wore it in bright rooms (the only way I can explain it would be the bright lip gloss people in 2010 TV shows wore), which I wasn’t really looking for. But after wearing it for about half an hour, the color would get more muted and less shiny which I personally liked. But I definitely know people who would love this- it just wasn’t for me.

I was so excited to try this after all the hype on social media, but by day 3 of using it, it completely dried out my lips and made them peel and flake SO bad. Seriously my lips have NEVER been this bad. I cannot stress just how badly they ruined my lips, and it took a full week and a half for my lips to go back to normal. Not only that, but the consistency is extremely goopy, and the color is almost nonexistent. I DO NOT recommend this lip oil unless you want your lips to look and feel like you've been stranded in the desert for a month.
