I won’t deny he is adorable and the concept is amazing. The product leaves a lot to be desired. The stitching on mine was very poor. Most of the pieces were busted. The stitching to the Velcro was also pretty poorly done. I’m in the process of returning him instead of giving him to my son for Christmas. My hope is they will reassess the stitching and make some corrective actions.

This has quickly become one of my son's favorite toys. I let him pick the pieces he wants and he'll say there for 15 minutes talking them on and off. I love how this stuff animal is fostering his imagination since he can mix and match the pieces. Also a great stuffed animal for the car. It gives him something to do and it's car safe! I'm impressed how sturdy the Velcro is and how well the pieces stick.

The only negative thing I can think of is that the Velcro is so strong she can't remove things on her own and it frustrates her. I'm always sure to be nearby or I'll tell her before handing her the toy to let me know if she needs help with something. On the bright side, her choices stay on very well!
We have plenty of stuffed animals, but Mixaroo is a favorite

We have SO MANY stuffed animals, but Mixaroo is a favorite our 2-year-old loved instantly. The fact that he can change his appearance to be a "cat," an "elephant," a "dragon" and various other critters supplies endless fascination. Right now taking his nose on and off is a particular amusement. This one is sure to grow with her! Asked who should come on a recent stroller ride our daughter shouted "Mixaroo!"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toy itself was soft and I don't worry if the loose pieces will harm my kid. The entire toy is fabric made with Velcro. The cons of this toy is the pieces don't stick well to the base Toy and it was a little frustrating for my nephew to keep having to put the pieces back on. But it's a nice toy for a small child. They can create a little friend and change him when they want to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Mixaroo! I have two children, one is 8 months and the other is 5 years old. Of course our 8 month old wasn't old enough to design any animal just yet, but our 5 year old absolutely loves this little thing! He has so much fun choosing different combinations of accessories and telling the different stories that go with them. I love how durable the pieces are and how it's literally endless in how many ways you can design it. I especially like that this can be played with independently or with other people. I really wish we could purchase additional accessories for this plush (think unicorn horns, silly mouths, floppy ears, different colors of things, etc.) I think that would be a very compelling addition to this little guy for even more endless fun! But overall we absolutely adore our Mixaroo and would highly recommend this to any parent looking for some fun imaginative play for their little ones!

Both of my girls love it. They both carry it around everywhere. It comes with a complete set of parts to make it a lizard, lion, and an elephant. We have so much fun putting all of the pieces on it at the same time. It's even fun taking them all off. So much fun to see all the different things they try to make with the pieces. I recommend this toy to my friends and family.

My 2 year old didn't quite understand what to do with it at first, but after playing with it with her a few times, she started to enjoy it on her own. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixaroo is very durable and of high quality. My daughter loves her "buddy" and her favorite setup right now is the cat ears. The velcro really sticks and only comes of intentionally. He's very dense and not very cuddly but that doesn't stop my daughter. She brings him to bed every night. We love all of the pieces and getting creative.

My 20 month old currently just loves taking apart my creations but I can see this growing with him as his imagination grows. My husband and I have had a great time putting the different pieces on. Even my mother got a kick out of this little guy. It's like a more cuddly and fun Mr. Potato Head. I would buy this product and recommend to friends!
