Electro-Harmonix has streamlined the essence of thesitar into a compact enclosure that offers a polyphonic lead voice and tunablesympathetic string drones that dynamically react to your playing. With the Electro-HarmonixRavish Sitar Emulator, you can create your custom scales for the sympatheticstrings while you set the decay time for the lead voice. Two expression pedalinputs allow you to bend the pitch of the lead voice and control the volume ofthe sympathetic strings simultaneously. These unique controls offer the playerthe ability to program the Ravish to become a unique and organic instrumentunto itself. The Ravish is a truly new design with the flexibility to be acrossover tonal wonder.FeaturesDry level lets you control the volume of the dry signal present at the mainoutput. Lead level lets you control the amount of lead sitar signal at the mainoutput. The sympathetic level controls the amount of sympathetic signal on themain and sympathetic output. Lead Timbre controls the ‘buzz’ or ‘zing’ of thelead tone. Bodysympathetic Timbre controls the ‘buzz’ or ‘zing’ of thesympathetic string tone. The mode and preset encoder has three functions, whereyou can scroll through presets, save them, and check their different modes. ThePitch EXP lets you plug an optional pedal to bend the pitch of the lead sitar.The Drone EXP lets you plug an optional pedal for manual control of theRavish’s sympathetic strings. The input jack lets you connect your instrumentor another effects pedal. The Bypass footswitch with LED lets you toggle betweeneffect mode and bypass mode. The preset footswitch with LED lets you load aselected preset. When in Key Mode, press and hold the footswitch to custom-tunethe Ravish. In modes other than Key Mode, press and hold the footswitch tofreeze the sympathetic strings. The main out jack contains the dry, lead sitar,and sympathetic string signals. The sympathetic out jack contains only thesympathetic strings signal and is intended for use with effects or to go with aseparate amplifier.
