Much lighter in reality

When I received this wall art, it looked much lighter than the photo on the website so I thought maybe I got a flawed version . . . I ordered a second one and it's just as light. You can barely see any sand on the bottom - just very faint beige color, hardly much at all and the blue sky is very light as well. The waves are not at all as smooth and distinct either. Will likely be returning unless the abstract look is something I can get used to.
