It bubbles horrible, chips and doesn’t dry effectively. Thin enough to require at least three coats for a solid color. Honestly, I’ve applied this multiple times in a careful manner. File/buff/high quality base and top coats (multiple brands).. No painting on cuticles, etc. and it does NOT do well… Unfortunately. Normally this brand is top notch. That’s why I give two stars. But this one fails.

I have tried so many nail polishes in my lifetime. I mean… name brands and obscure brands alike. I finally settled on a cleaner gel polish for myself during the pandemic. HOWEVER, I have 3 daughters and 2 are finally at the age where they want to do do their own nails so gel is no longer practical. I finally tried Ella+Mila and I am pleasantly surprised. It’s on the cleaner side and it actually dries pretty fast. Their color selection is phenomenal and gets my girls super excited! I painted a single nail and to test and the polish is still there and doing really well! I’m a new forever customer.

I started with just one coat and I loved the transparency of it. It was a little thicker in some spots so I ended up having to put two coats on, which was ok. It took away some of the sheer, which is my fave, love the sheer. But it is still beautiful. Dried nicely. First pic is one coat, second pic, 2 coats.
