Ello Pop and Fill Stainless Steel Water Bottle

leaking all the time

I got these water bottles for my daughters in August and they both have already started leaking and it’s only halfway through September. I will not be purchasing these again. This is a bummer because I typically love Ello water bottles.

I find it hard to clean the silicone parts. I took way too long just trying to remove the stains. Definitely need some kind of wand brush to clean the insides as well. But other than that it works great! My drink stays cold the whole day!

We got this water bottle for my 6 year old because we were having mold issues with her last one. Initially it was a great bottle and I loved the locking feature to ensure it was staying clean (closed), but then the rubber ring inside began to pop out of place and it would leak excessively if it fell on its side. Super annoying to have to constantly check that for her, but it’s a good bottle otherwise. Love that it has a cover to keep it clean while she’s at school.

The item doesn't keep the ice in form as advertised and the straw is continously falling out of the slot. I do not recommend this item at all.

*Needs a new lid design stat* This water bottle is great-easy to clean, perfect size to last all day, keeps water cold. The plastic latch that covers the mouthpiece broke within 2 weeks of school from getting dropped twice by my first grader. Latch is a poor design on otherwise great water bottle. Wouldn’t recommend for kids for sure. They do sell replacement lids which is more than most brands do but overall just skip the hassle and try a different model.

I love this water bottle and so do my kids. We have replaced all our Stanley and yeti water bottles since finding this brand. The favorite part for me is that you can refill the bottle with ice and water without having to unscrew and screw the top back on. The other feature I love is that there is a cover for the mouth piece being that I work in a hospital I do not like having my water bottle out and open to germs. This water bottle is also not super heavy and easy for me and my kids to carry around. The colors are also very cute and my kids and I love them.

The lid broke on the first day when the bottle fell from about 2 feet onto the floor.

I cannot get this cup to stop leaking. It’s adorable, but worthless, at this point. I would love to get a refund and replace with a bottle that is spill proof.

Leaked without any wear

I bought 2 of these for my kids. Within the first 2 days of use they would leak water everywhere from the rubber ring coming loose. When dropped or knocked into something they leak everything. I’ve owned MANY water bottles and never had problems like this…with both!

This bottle leaks like crazy. I took it on a trip and it soaked my backpack under my airline seat. I thought maybe I had the gaskets in wrong, so I went to a store to check. Nope, they were in correctly and the lid was securely fastened. Awful design, hard to clean, and expensive. Went with an All In Motion bottle instead for the rest of the trip.

Worst design ever! The gaskets are issues. They promote mold. This bottle does not keep drinks cold like its predecessor.

This is an amazingly versatile water bottle!

I love this water bottle. It’s so easy to clean and so cute. I love that you can flip the lid instead of have to unscrew the top to refill it.

These bottles aren't meant for either hot or carbonated beverages. It doesn't say that on the outside of the packaging, but hidden on the reverse side of the label where you can't see it. I returned it without even using it because of that. However, if you filter out all the incentivized reviews, you can see that the actual reviews are poor and complain about leakage. Glad I returned it.

Have just had it for a month and the O-ring keeps falling out so it leaks all over.

I love the size and how easy it fits in my hand. I also appreciate that the mouth part is covered. My previous Ello bottle’s button was easier to press that my daughters would use it all the time. This one is a bit more difficult and you actually have to make an effort to press. I wish it wasn’t like that.

I like the ease of filling the water bottle but the rubber piece inside the lid always falls off and it will leak EVERYWHERE. I hope they fix this issue with new models because it’s a nice bottle otherwise.
