Ember Self-Warming Smart Baby Bottle System: BPA-Free, AC Adapter, Battery Powered

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this product deserves one. I spent hours troubleshooting this brand new bottle warming system because the setup instructions direct you to the wrong app. After finally finding the correct app (thank you YouTube), I was stuck in an endless firmware update loop that made the smart features completely unusable. What’s even more frustrating is that YouTube videos from 2023 document this exact same issue, yet Ember still has no timeline for a fix. Their solution? Send a replacement puck while admitting the app and firmware problems are still unresolved. Yes, the bottle can warm milk without the app, but I didn’t pay a premium price for a basic bottle warmer. I paid for a smart system with app connectivity, and that functionality simply doesn’t work. If you’re buying this for its advertised smart features, I’d recommend looking elsewhere until Ember actually resolves these long-standing software issues.

I bought this on a deal from Best Buy a couple months before our baby was due. Overall it went great in the beginning and was a nice way to warm her milk. However , the bottles gave her gas. So we just used it as a warmer for a while. When she got older and could handle some gas without getting too fussy, the bottles became useful again, but the puck became inconsistent. I would have to plug it into get it work again often. Lastly now she’s drinking well over 6 ounces, However, that’s the maximum capacity of this bottle. I wish they would make some larger bottles to handle up to 10 ounces at least

Worked great for three months. Then the warming puck broke and support hasn’t responded. Do not buy!

I wish I could have had this for my other children. A game changer, especially at nighttime or on the road.

This product is amazing, easily a favorite baby item of ours! My wife and I use it all of the time and I love knowing that it is warmed to an ideal temperature and don't need to play an guessing games.

This is revolutionary. It not only keeps the milk cold for up to 4 hours, but it heats upon demand and pretty quickly (without overheating)! I'm very impressed. For anyone who needs to pack on the go and travels often, this is a must. Shipping was relatively quick. Customer service is a little bit on the slow side (few days turnaround), but I want to give every benefit of the doubt because this has made my life much easier. I have a UV sterilizer and I've been washing and sterilizing the parts just fine. *You should not put the dome and puck in the sterilizer machine. The nipples are, in my opinion, better than any of the nipples that come with other baby bottles (I've tried them all: hybrid glass/plastic Chicco, Phillips Avent, and Dr Browns); the Ember nipples are very bouncy and malleable and I can tell they actually cared about the feel and responsiveness of it. Parts are convenient to take apart and wash. Overall, 5/5 for me. I'll be purchasing another set so that I can have 4 bottles for an upcoming international trip. It is that much worth it! I've already travelled across the US twice with it and it's been so convenient on the plane. A couple of areas for improvement: for this price point, there should be more than 2 bottles and the battery life should be double. I'm sure Ember is already working on this for their next version. I expect there to be 4 bottles and 4 full charges for this kind of price point. There is some discoloration of the aluminum material on the bottom of the bottle after first use that I have already contacted Ember about - I hope to get a replacement soon. Lastly, I wish there was some sort of a carrying sleeve that keeps the charger, bottle, and dome in one stacked unit for ease of carrying - some sort of latch and handle system. One more - a USB charger option for airplanes/cars would be very helpful. My guess is that Ember already considered this option but maybe the wall plug charges faster. This is an unpaid, unsponsored, honest review. I hope Ember will highly consider my recommendations for improvement. I'd love to see this kind of bottle system take over and reach millions of tired, sleepless, and hardworking moms and dads. As a first time mommy of my 4 month old, I truly appreciate this product.

This was a gift for my daughter who after years as a family physician delivering hundreds of others’ babies finally had a child of her own. She said it is the “Apple” of baby products. Her husband especially likes it since she didn’t have much time off!
