Q: Hello, does this set come with the plastic lids to the bottles? I know they are not suppose to leak but that is not my concern, my concern is not getting the nipple all dirty or stuck with stuff when I throw it in a diaper bag or something like that's 😂

This set will be at the top of my list for baby shower gifts. It has everything you need to get started!! As a postpartum doula, I have used countless options and found these bottles and nipples to be the best for all my littles. The anti-colic valve allows for great flow and the no drip design makes them helpful not a hindrance. There’s nothing worse than a wet baby after a feed. I cannot wait to share this package with all my clients. The value in this package is huge! Having the soothers and cleaning brush included completely takes the guess work out of what to buy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby was born on January 17 so I’ve been testing the Phillip AVENT natural baby bottle for newborn that I received through the Stellar Product Testing panel for 3 days now and so far he is doing great. First and more important for me, my newborn has not develop colic at all, I feel that he can manage the amount of milk he’s drinking with his own suction, if I turn the bottle upside down the liquid does not come out easily which is great to avoid that he feeds too fast and get gas or discomfort in his tummy. I also like the fact that the bottle is very easy to clean. It only has 2 pieces, bottle and nipple so I don’t have to spend hours taking the bottles apart to clean them. That’s a win for me. I’m currently using the bottles to feed my baby both expressed breastmilk and formula and is working great with both. I did not like the pacifier included in the pack, it was too big for a newborn or at least for my newborn and also the clean brush that comes in the box it’s made out of foam so the quality is not great, it has started to get broken already just with a few days of use. I give this set 4 stars because of these two items that really didn’t work for me but the bottles themselves are a practical and amazing product that does what it says it will. Great to combine breastfeeding and formula feeding. I hope my review is useful for you. I’ve added it a picture of my LO enjoying his Phillip AVENT natural baby bottle. I

The no drip nipple isn't exactly no drip if you tip the bottle to the side milk will drip out of it if you don't pick it up. But it is a slow drip not a full leak. No excess air and really good flow. Make sure to take the correct size for age. Overall I would recommend these bottles and nipples. The cleaning brush is great to gets in the hard to reach places. She didn't like the pacifier ironically.

The set included 2x 4oz bottles, 2x 9oz bottles, 2 sizes of nipples with varying flow rates, a bottle brush and bonus pacifier. The set couldn’t have arrived at a better time for us. We are transitioning away from breastfeeding and the “mom like” bottle nipples helped ease into the change from breast to bottle. Our baby took to them nearly right away!! We also noticed a significant reduction in babies gas, huge win. On top of all of the above “mom wins”, the nipples don’t leak!! No more milk mess literally every where!! We couldn’t be happier with the set. Highly recommend. Especially, if you’re a breastfeeding mom or one looking to transition to bottles/formula. Our only regret is not being able to test out the pacifier. No fault of Philips Avent though. Our baby refuses ANY pacifier.

This is a fabulous set for new and veteran moms alike! It has everything you need to begin your bottle-feeding journey, add to your existing one, or, refresh your memory for those like me where it has been a while since your last baby! I love that this set comes with 2 different sized bottles, perfect for quick feeds on the go or for bigger feeds. It is also nice having the two sizes as your baby grows so quickly, so the amounts you may need will change. It also has two different nipples. My baby is breastfed, but I also give bottles as well. She doesn’t enjoy taking bottles and it can sometimes be a fight, but she has quickly taken to these bottles - which has been so helpful, especially when I need a break and have my husband help out! This set also comes with a bottle brush, which is so helpful to have and amazing not to have to purchase one. I especially love the two pacifiers. These were staples that my older boys used to love when they were babies, and now it’s great to have these for my daughter. You can never have enough pacifiers in and around the house (and out and about too!). She’s rejected all other pacifiers except for these. They truly are the best ones on the market! I highly recommend this set whether you plan to bottle or breastfeed as it is so worthwhile for all the items that you get! You get to try their various products all in one set and they are honestly some of the best ones you can buy/have. I have already purchased more of these pacifiers from Avent since receiving this product. It truly is the perfect set to give for a baby shower as it comes with all the things a new (or seasoned) mom would need and one less thing to think about after baby’s arrival.

This is an excellent bottle set for newborns, especially with the uniquely built nipple that prevents colic. It is so trouble some to clean the bottles that have tubes and vents that you need to keep cleaning in addition to the bottle, so these were excellent. The time it saves is great to have to not wash a million parts. The nipples are incredibly soft which is great and my favorite part, and as a C section mom, who's milk didn't come in right away, the feel and flow of the nipple is also excellent as it doesn't cause nipple confusion and baby can be both breast and bottle fed with no issues. The no drip tip is my favorite as I've totally been feeding the baby and accidently have it fall out as I'm distracted and be on her cheek or chin lol and thank God it doesn't make a mess. The feel of the bottle in the hand is also comfortable which I know might not seem like something big but as a very sleepy tired parent, bottles that fit perfectly in your hand and don't slip are huge. The bottles and the parts also fit perfectly in my Philips sanitizer. The baby also took the pacifier with no problems and is the perfect size for the itty bitty ones and gives me great satisfaction that it's one piece and has no little parts that can break off and is all silicone and can also be easily sanitized with the bottles unlike the flimsy pacifiers that can't be sanitized in a steam sanitizer. Overall an excellent set.

This is the perfect gift for any mom to be! It comes with everything you need to start bottle feeding your baby. Even if you plan to breastfeed, I think it’s a great idea to have a set like this one incase of emergencies or for feeding your baby expressed/pumped milk. I love that this set comes with the cleaning brush, the sealing disks ( which are perfect for travel or storing milk) and two pacifiers ( a very popular pacifier accepted by most babies). The variety of nipples are great for different stages and for meeting babies preference of milk flow. I love this set!

Through Stellar Product Testing Panel they sent me the new Avent Philips Natural Newborn Giftset to try out with my little one. After a month of using it for our bottle feeds, it’s safe to say they are a hit, and I could have reviewed after day 1! Baby took to them seamlessly (he is currently - 1 month old). The flow was great and He had no problem switching to the nipple. His gas declined and was able to have more peaceful sleeps. The pacifier when used was a hit but I find my LO isn’t a big fan of any pacifiers. I love that this set came with a brush and pacifiers along with bottles to progress from Newborn onwards. So helpful that the nipple says “1” and “2” to know what stage of nipple you’re using. The only downfall was I found this bottle took longer to warm in the bottle warmer than other brands I have used. All in all, a 5 star review.

Pacifier is so soft and comfortable, so as bottle nipples. Easy to clean with provided brush. No leak nipple prevents any possible mess. My favourite is that drinking from these bottles is just like breastfeeding, very easy and we can see improvement with colics since we started to use these bottles. Set is compatible with Phillips Avent breastfeeding pump. All together excellent newborn set.

With additional nipple options, I think the variety of bottle sizes and nipple style would have made this an ideal package. I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel, in exchange for a fair and honest review!

The flow rate of milk they get from the nipple is linked to how enthusiastically or steadily they drink as they develop. Enthusiastic drinkers use a strong suction and compression while drinking, resulting in greater milk flow, so they usually need a lower nipple flow from the Natural Response range (such as nipple number 1 or 2) to avoid overflow. Slow and steady drinkers are likely to prefer a higher nipple flow (such as nipple 4 or 5), to ensure enough milk flows, regardless of age. The set includes two different bottles sizes that can grow with baby's appetite. The bottles have no drip nipples which helped to prevent my baby's colic symptoms. The bottles are also easy to assemble and clean. The bottle brush included in the set does its job but it would be nice if it included a smaller end to clean the nipple tips. The pacifier is a old classic that still stands the test of time and helped my baby self soothe while allowing for easy breathing. Overall I gave this set a 4 star rating and feel it would be an excellent gift for a first time parent.

It comes with enough pieces that anyone could try out this set with their baby to see how they like it, and anyone who's tried bottle feeding knows it can be very frustrating to find the right bottles. I predominantly breastfeed and have gone through many bottles trying to find one with a nipple similar to my own. I like the size and shape of the Avent nipples, and I am so happy that they are no drip! Thank you for less mess with a fussy baby! My favourite thing about this set is that it comes with its own bottle brush lol! I am so paranoid about dirty bottles and slime on the inside, so the brush is a really nice addition to the set. All that plus the bonus two pacifiers really makes this a complete set for a new parent. While I do like this set overall, there were a couple of negatives for me. I don't like how the lids go on, it feels like they don't attach on all the way but keep spinning. The sealing lids were my biggest vexation though. Either I'm not putting them on correctly, or they don't actually "lock on" to the bottle to provide an actual seal. They aren't very intuitive, and I won't be using them at all. My frustration with them in the middle of the night was pretty high. This set was a solid 4/5 for me (would've been a perfect score with an actual lid). And I would definitely recommend this for any new or expecting mother because it comes with EVERYTHING you need to bottle feed! Overall, these bottles met and also exceeded our expectations as first time parents. I like how the set comes with different size bottles, pacifier and a brush. Our baby had no issue taking these bottles, thanks to the wide nipple which mimics my breast. The no drip tip is also great.. no messes. Our baby was able to easily drink from the bottle. With other brands I have noticed lots of dripping, which also leads to a fussy baby. It is also frustrating when you are putting your own breastmilk in the bottle, since as a mom I work hard for every drop. I also noticed that after using these bottles our baby is less gassy which leads to less fussy periods. The pacifier is a huge bonus. Our baby LOVES the pacifier and it has to be our favourite part of the set. It is exactly like the pacifier used in the hospital NICU. Our baby will not take any other pacifier. This is an awesome set for all families. I will definitely recommend them to our friends who are expecting. Thank you for a great product!

This would make a great gift to a new parent. I was pleased to try them out with my second baby. With my first baby, I found that choosing a bottle to start my baby on was a daunting task, as there are a lot of choices on the market with different benefits and features. I breastfeed my kids and use the bottle, and I was concerned about my baby preferring the bottle. I like that the nipple allows the flow to stop and start and is closer in design to breastfeeding. My baby is not prone to colic, so I cannot comment on that feature, however, I did not notice any additional gas or fussiness when using these bottles. It would have been helpful to have a higher flow nipple also included in the set, to allow more exploration of which nipple flow works best. The set provides two smaller bottles and two larger bottles. It’s great to be able to size up to the larger option as your baby grows without having to go back to the store. The bottles were easy to use, and fit easily in our existing sterilizer. The set comes with a bottle brush. This brush is awesome. One end is the brush and one end is for cleaning the bottle nipples. The brush cleans up easily in the top rack of the dishwasher and does not have a sponge, so does not collect bacteria as easily. We used the Phillips pacifiers exclusively with both of my children. They are easy for the babies to use, they are easy to clean and sterilize. It would be nice if the newborn set came with two pacifiers instead of one, as we know that it does not take long before one is dropped on the floor. Overall, any parent that intends to use bottles would be happy to receive this set, as it has everything a parent needs to get started with bottle feeding and the nipples are a great shape for baby.

These bottles are especially great for parents who are nursing as well as bottle feeding. From my perspective, the bottles are easy to assemble and clean. With only three parts (bottle, ring, nipple, as well as a lid), it’s very user-friendly and there are no leaks. The bottles I was using previously have an extra part that can cause leaks if not assembled correctly, which has resulted in a lot of mess and wasted formula/expressed milk. The Avent bottles keep us clean and don’t waste baby’s food! The bottles have slightly concave sections on each side, which makes it very comfortable to hold. As with many bottles, it’s a bit tricky to clean them without a bottle brush, but that’s not an issue, since the kit includes one! From my daughter’s perspective, the nipple is soft like skin and easy to latch on to. I particularly appreciate the breast-like shape, as it allows her to keep a good wide latch, making switching from bottle to breast easy, since she’s not picking up bad habits. The set comes with two different flow rates (two nipples in each flow), but my daughter doesn’t notice or have a preference. The no-drip tip is great, because she has to suck to get milk, just like a breast. The pacifier that comes with the kit is the kind she was already using, and so is a big hit. I’ll caution that it falls out if not being actively sucked (so like when she falls asleep), but that it doesn’t seem to bother her. It may be an issue for some babies (for example, my eldest didn’t like this kind). I love the hole where you can see their little mouths sucking! I was given this bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Advent newborn starter kit from Stellar Product Testing Panel and I love it! I love that it comes with a variety of bottle sizes and nipple flows and most importantly, seems to be the only bottle/pacifiers my daughter with a tongue tie will take. I have tried countless other bottle brands and always come back to the Advent bottles as the proven winner. This is the perfect set to buy for starting out with bottles and I would recommend this as a perfect gift or item to have on your registry. 10/10 recommend this item and will be buying this for my girlfriends!
