Description
Philips Avent Glass Natural bottle with the Natural Response nipple lets baby control the pace of the milk, like they do when breastfeeding. The nipples' unique opening and tip only releases milk when your baby actively drinks. When pausing to swallow and breathe no milk flows. Baby can drink, swallow, and breathe using their natural rhythm, just like they do when breastfeeding. Easily combine breast and bottle feeding with a wide breast-shaped nipple with a soft feel that mimics the shape and feel of a breast; plus baby controlling the flow of milk like they do when breastfeeding. The nipple has a no-drip design which helps prevent lost milk from the tip. An anti-colic valve integrated into the nipple is designed to reduce colic and discomfort by sending air away from your baby's tummy. The ergonomic shape makes it comfortable for parents to hold. Assembly is simple with only a few parts and the wide bottle neck makes filling and cleaning easy. This Natural Philips Avent bottle is made of premium quality borosilicate glass, a BPA free material. It is heat and thermal shock resistant, so it can be safely stored in the fridge, warmed and is easy to wash and sterilize. The Natural response nipples come in flow rates 1-5, to keep up with your baby's growth. We recommend using the Philips Avent Natural baby bottle with Philips Avent Natural bottle nipples. Includes: 3 4oz Glass Natural bottle with Natural Response nipple flow 2. SCY910/03
What to expect when introducing the Philips Avent Natural Response Nipple:
-It's totally natural for your baby to take 2-3 tries to get milk flowing from a new bottle. Unlike traditional bottles the Natural bottle is designed to only release milk when your baby is actively drinking, like what happens when babies breastfeed.
-We have 5 different nipple flow rates for the Natural bottle. When looking for the right nipple flow rate, age is a guide, but your baby's approach to drinking and the feeding cues they will show will help determine when to move to a higher or lower nipple flow rate.

I love glass bottle, my newborn struggles to get any milk out of the nipple. Most likely will return all unopened boxes back look at other brands. My newborn has lost weight cause she so tired from trying feed for so long.

The tops leak, and twist off with every feed. I've lost countless oz of breast milk with these bottles. The slow flow nipple is also the slowest flow out of any bottle. The only good thing is that they are glass and easy to clean.

While they might be heavy, that’s to be expected since these are made of thick glass. Had tried multiple different types of bottles with my first child. She was very colicky, no anti-colic bottles seemed to help, tried these, and everything changed. Fell in love with the ease of cleaning and quality. No smell or cloudiness whatsoever when washed unlike some plastic bottles. Recommend using these for 1st time parents.

I’ve been using the natural bottles for a while now but the last set of bottles I received were not good at all. Every time I would shake the bottle to mix formula the milk would leak and leave a mess. Every disappointment

Hi there, Thank you for writing your review, and we are sorry to hear that your Philips Natural Baby Bottles are leaking. We would like to inform you that incorrect assembly is the cause of leakage in 50% of cases. Please ensure that the nipple is properly inserted through the screw ring and is securely tightened on the bottle without being overtightened. Wet glass bottles can be particularly challenging to close as they may slip. Therefore, it is advisable to dry the bottle before sealing it. You can also visit the following link for more information on how to prevent leakage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjytab_9-hU. If the issue persists or if you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to us via social media. We are available on Facebook (@Philips) and Twitter (@PhilipsCare). If you do not use social media, you can also contact us through the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact. Kind regards, Philips Consumer Care

Cons about these bottles: - Nipples have absolutely no flow, my infant was working so hard - hard to open once it’s close - baby was very gassy Pro: It’s glass, which plastic can give leachable I wish you can make the Phillip Avent Anti Colic nipples compatible with this.

Hi Kris, thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. We're sorry to hear that your Philips Avent Baby Bottle is leaking. Incorrect assembly might be a reason for leakage. When assembling your Philips Avent Natural Bottle, please make sure that the feeding nipple is fully pulled through the screw ring. This can help prevent spills and leaks during feeding. If you’re nervous about glass bottles try these. Thick quality glass, you can get a silicone sleeve. My 5mo loves these the best, no leaks. He only has 1 pumped bottle a day and BF mostly but hasn’t had a problem switching between this and breast
Dangerous

I bought these months before my baby was born so can’t return now. But these are dangerous. I’ve only used these for a couple months, washed it normally in the dishwasher, and glass around the rim broke off into the bottle. It could’ve been dangerous very quickly if I hadn’t noticed. Not to mention with these bottles the nipple ring doesn’t always tighten on right, and leaks a lot. Do not recommend

Breastfed baby took to them immediately

Out breastfed newborn took to these nipples immediately. He had no trouble drinking from these bottles and switching back and forth to the breast. We both breastfeed and bottle feed now and he has no problems. I like that these nipples have a wide base similar to a breast. I also like the size of these bottles, perfect for a newborn who is only drinking 2-3 ounces at a time. These bottles are easy to clean (only 3 parts), and using glass helps me feel confident they don't have micro-scratches that harbor bacteria the way plastic can be.

Our favorite bottles! Love that they are made of thick glass and very high quality. We’ve used them the past 4 months and they’ve held up well. The flow is great for our baby and we’ve never had any leakage issues.
