Description

Philips Avent Glass Natural bottle with the Natural Response nipple lets baby control the pace of the milk, like they do when breastfeeding. The nipples' unique opening and tip only releases milk when your baby actively drinks. When pausing to swallow and breathe no milk flows. Baby can drink, swallow, and breathe using their natural rhythm, just like they do when breastfeeding. Easily combine breast and bottle feeding with a wide breast-shaped nipple with a soft feel that mimics the shape and feel of a breast; plus baby controlling the flow of milk like they do when breastfeeding. The nipple has a no-drip design which helps prevent lost milk from the tip. An anti-colic valve integrated into the nipple is designed to reduce colic and discomfort by sending air away from your baby's tummy. The ergonomic shape makes it comfortable for parents to hold. Assembly is simple with only a few parts and the wide bottle neck makes filling and cleaning easy. This Natural Philips Avent bottle is made of premium quality borosilicate glass, a BPA free material. It is heat and thermal shock resistant, so it can be safely stored in the fridge, warmed and is easy to wash and sterilize. The Natural response nipples come in flow rates 1-5, to keep up with your baby's growth. We recommend using the Philips Avent Natural baby bottle with Philips Avent Natural bottle nipples. Includes: 1 4oz Glass Natural bottle with Natural Response nipple flow 2. SCY910/01

What to expect when introducing the Philips Avent Natural Response Nipple:

-It's totally natural for your baby to take 2-3 tries to get milk flowing from a new bottle. Unlike traditional bottles the Natural bottle is designed to only release milk when your baby is actively drinking, like what happens when babies breastfeed.

-We have 5 different nipple flow rates for the Natural bottle. When looking for the right nipple flow rate, age is a guide, but your baby's approach to drinking and the feeding cues they will show will help determine when to move to a higher or lower nipple flow rate.

Do not buy these! Your baby will wear themselves out trying to get anything out of the nipple. I felt terrible when I finally realized it was an issue with the nipple and not my baby. These are trash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have twins and at this time they are taking more than 4oz per feed typically so this bottle needed to be refilled. That being said, when on the go it was great to have as it can be packed easily! My babies were okay with the wide-nipple but I think they prefer narrow. If your baby likes wide nipples they will likely enjoy this bottle. The nipple level doesn't seem to correspond with other brands so I found that a little confusing to figure out what level they needed. I am super fortunate to have received this bottle as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I will likely purchase nipples for these bottles as they need the higher levels as I mentioned they are great for not taking up space!

Great bottle for breastfed babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried several bottle brand to use with my breastfed baby. I was using a certain brand with a silicone body but I didn’t like it because it seems too flimsy and did not stand up. I was given this bottle to test as part of the Stellar Product testing panel and thankful as it’s a better option than the one I was using before. I supplement breastfeeding with pumped milk and formula. My baby accepted it right away and was able to switch from breast to bottle within the same feed without any fuss. I liked that the shape of the nipple allowed my baby to have the proper latch similar to the breast. It also mimic the responsiveness while breastfeeding, allowing her to pause and pace herself. Another part of the nipple that I liked was the no drip tip. With other bottles, I would sometimes splash some milk in her face, which got messy. This bottle was the least that gave her gas. A small burp and she would be relieved. With other bottles, she would release several big burps, so I know this Philips Avent Glass Natural Glass bottle reduces colic and gas. The shape of the bottle was comfortable for my hand and did not feel like it would slip if my baby moved while feeding. This bottle is low maintenance, it’s easy to clean and there aren’t a lot of parts to put together. It’s an over all good design with functionality that’s a good choice for breastfed babies.

Great glass bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for testing through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is the first time I used a glass bottle and they are surprisingly not as heavy and felt more durable than I thought (my toddler wants to help out with everything now). Will need to use it for longer to see if it would also develop a permanent milk film like the plastic bottles. Right now the markings are very clear which is super important for me. The silicone nipple feels soft and my little one (4 months old) is taking on it well, but the flow is a bit slow, probably time to upgrade (I am testing the level 2 of 0 months+). You could probably skip through the nipple levels pretty quickly. My baby doesn’t have colic but had been gassy and spits milk quite often. This bottle does seem to work well for us so far than some of other popular brands we tried, but might be even better once we upgrade to a faster flow nipple which we have already ordered online now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bottle set. When using the bottle my initial thought was how much I enjoyed the bottle size and the fact that it was glass. The size of the bottles are compact and great for traveling! The nipple tip worked wonders with my baby who also is breastfed. I find other bottles have to much of a flow making him spit up most of the milk. The no-drip tip allowed him to take his time drinking and had zero spill. These are easily my favourite bottles!

The bottles are great and everything and they work great. The only problem is the glass breaks fast. I have other brand bottles that have lasted me months without breaking by accident, these bottles broke from just sterilizing them. It’ll be great if aren’t just sold the glass bottle it’s self as a replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve received this product as part of the Stellar Product Panel. I’ve always wanted to try glass bottles with my first two babies and am finally able to with my third. They don’t get smelly like plastic bottles eventually do and I don’t have to worry about plastic breaking down and throwing it away after. They are also easy to clean and attach to my Philips Avent pump. I plan on moving on to bigger glass ones by Philip Avent when my baby needs it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These glass bottles are beautiful. Most bottles look a bit cheap and flimsy, but these shine. They are the first bottles that have looked attractive sitting on my counter. These bottles are so easy to assemble and clean. There are 3 pieces plus the protective cap. They are simple to wash in the sink and then run through the sterilizer. The design of the Philips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle is very thoughtful. The indentations in the glass make it easy to grip while cleaning or feeding your baby. The nipple on the bottle is supposed to mimic a breast. Since my son is breastfed 99% of the time, this was very important to me. I liked that the nipple allowed him to control when the milk came out of the bottle. I have found that other bottles drip or leak, and this one didn't at all. My son took this nipple no problem. He rarely has gas or discomfort, so I didn't notice any difference in that area from using this bottle. The only issue I saw was that he didn't seem to be able to get milk as quickly as he drinks it from my breast. The bottles I received were a 0m+, and my baby is 3+ months, so I believe that was the issue. I should have been using the 3m+, so definitely pay attention to the flow rate of the bottles you are purchasing! Overall I would recommend this to any parent with a breastfed baby who wants a glass bottle. The design and nipple are the most comfortable and realistic that I have tried. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bottle set.

Durable. Doesn't drip. Glass is a lot better to use than plastics. Only downfall when I used on my 2 month old is his pinky got stuck between the lid and the glass bottle. If I had not paid attention I could have easily hurt his pinky if I pulled away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I exclusively used the Phillips bottles with my first and was excited that the Stellar Product testing panel sent me a box of these to try out the new natural response nipples. We used them primarily as top ups after a feed while establishing breastfeeding after our son had his tongue tie released. Like breastfeeding, it took a bit for him to learn how to use his tongue properly, but it was great at helping him learn to actively suck. The glass bottles were great for easy cleaning and didn’t get filmy the way that plastic bottles sometimes can. I highly recommend for any mom who wants to keep breastfeeding, with the option of leaving a bottle so you can still go out for a much deserved mom’s night out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I like these bottles a lot. I’ve been using them several times a day for my newborn. It is great that the bottles are glass and not plastic. The cap on the glass bottles grip to the bottle well and they don't leak as many other differentbottles that I had used before. The nipples were easy for the baby to use. I likes that the bottles come in different sizes. This way we can switch and try the different nipple options. Also, the bottles are easy to clean, which is a big advantage. Overall I am satisfied with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a sample from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and as a breastfeeding mom it's important to me that my baby doesn't end up preferring bottles. The Avent natural response nipple is perfect for this! The flow is good as it's similar to breastfeeding and she has to work to get the milk out. I found this bottle and nipple easy to clean and put together as the nipple is all one piece unlike some other brands with many pieces to the nipple to get the same effect. I like that it doesn't drip when tipped so my precious milk doesn't go to waste and my baby can pace herself and feed at the speed she wants to. I would definitely recommend this product to any parent, but especially those supplementing during breastfeeding!

Great quality from a trusted brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these bottles through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was pleased to see the same quality and tried and true natural nipple shape, as when I purchased avent bottles for my first child 6 years ago. The fact that they have stayed the course with the natural nipple and flow assures me that I am not alone in finding success bottle feeding my baby with these particular bottles. The new feature to this bottle set is the glass body versus the usual plastic body. My initial thoughts were that I liked the idea of warming a bottle that was made from glass and not plastic, but was nervous about the potential for breaking. With a very helpful 6 year old brother who likes to help with feeding, I can say that these bottles have survived drops onto cork flooring without breaking, but luckily haven’t made their way onto tile yet so I can’t speak to their durability there. The only drawback, albeit minor, to these bottles is the weight of the glass. We only use them for daytime feedings, but I could imagine at night when you’re half awake, they could be less than ideal (and more painful for babe if they slip out of your hand and onto their head!). All in all, another great product from Avent!

Philips Avent glass Natural bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these bottles through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. They came quickly and in excellent condition. I love glass bottles for my baby as I feel they last longer when sterilizing. The bottle were really easy to clean, sterilize, and assemble. I love the look of the bottle. I like that they have a no drip nipple and that the nipple only allows milk to flow when baby is sucking. However, my son did not like these bottles. My son had a tongue tie revision and has always ‘chomped’ more than sucked and because of this when he would ‘chomp’ down on the nipple, too much milk would flow and he would get overwhelmed. I think they would have been great when my daughter was a baby as she would only take the Philips Avent bottles, and I think that these bottle would be perfect for babies that have a better latch than my son. On the plus side though, my son was actually less gassy with these bottles and he was able to pause and take breaks without unlatching with these bottles. Overall I think they are great, just didn’t work for my son.

Philips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Avent glass natural baby bottles through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My 5 month old baby took well to these bottles. They were easy to assemble and clean. No leakage noted while drinking; baby was able to suck comfortably from the nipple. I like the feel of the glass bottles, but the weight of the glass did make it a bit harder for my baby to hold the bottle up by herself (which she can do with plastic bottles). Milk heated up better in these glass bottle as well! My only wish would be for different nipple flow options to be included so these bottles can grow with baby.

Excellent Bottles for your Baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Phillips Avent Glass Bottles from Stellar Product Testing in exchange for an honest review. We love the Phillips Avent Glass Bottles! These are the perfect size for a newborn. Easy to pack for travel with matching lids, these worked very well. Our baby girl took to this bottle with no problem with latching. The shape worked well for her, and the nipples were excellent. She sometimes sucks so hard that she collapses bottle nipples, but the design of the Phillips bottle prevented this. They are easy to assemble and clean and fit perfectly in our sterilizer. Two things to note are that now that our baby is 4 months old, the bottle serving size is slightly too small for her usual 5-ounce feeding, something to keep in mind as you plan your feeding schedule. They are incompatible with our breast pump but provide excellent storage for pumped milk to warm from the fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I got to try the new Phillips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle. I like that there are not too many parts to wash for the bottle and easy to sterilize. It especially helps knowing that there is no plastic residue leaking into the milk with glass bottles when I’m warming up milk. My favourite feature is the anti drip ( as shown in the picture), I don’t know how many times I’ve tipped over other bottles and let milk drip. Plus it allows the baby to work for the milk by sucking. The only thing I think I will replace would be the nipple thickness if possible as my baby took longer to have her milk and got frustrated a few times. #avent #panel # glass bottle

Did not immediately work for my EBF baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these bottles with flow 2 nipples from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest opinion. As a preface, my 4 month old baby is *mostly* exclusively breast fed (EBF) but has occasionally taken a bottle of breast milk without issue using the bottle that came with our pump. This is only the second type of bottle we have ever tried with him so he is definitely a bottle rookie! I found that these glass bottles were super easy to clean as they have a wider than average opening. They are easy to assemble and although they are naturally heavier in comparison to the plastic version, they are still comfortable to hold. Unfortunately my baby was not able to get any milk out of the bottle on the first shot and this may be due to inexperience or the nipple size. He had been actively sucking for about 10-15 minutes and while it seemed as though he was getting milk, he wasn’t as the bottle was still completely full each time I checked. I really wanted to love these bottles and will continue to use them to see if my baby catches on with a bit more practice. I’m sure my exclusively bottle fed daughter would’ve loved these had we had them back when she was a baby!

Philips Avent Glass Bottle Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My six month old son had the opportunity to use the Philips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. He drank well using this nipple – it was easy for him to have a complete seal with his lips and to keep that seal throughout the feed. This is important to me since my son has reflux and any extra air would lead to a messy clean up and discomfort for my son after a feed. The parts were also easy to assemble and to clean and I found that if I shook the parts before drying, they dried quickly as there weren’t any small parts. I will continue to use these bottles for my son and will get extra sets to leave at the grandparents!

Philips avent glass natural flow bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have to say that I really like these bottles. The bottle shape and size is great as my baby is able to hold the bottle on her own to feed herself. The bottle is small enough that even though it is made of glass my little one is able to hold it and feed herself, however big enough that it holds enough for a full feed. The nipple is well shaped and easy for babies to figure out how to use. The fact that it functions similar to the breast allows for baby to swallow and breathe without getting a mouthful of milk. The shape of the nipple resembles the breast as well, which unlike other nipples allows baby to latch with ease. I love the fact that if baby lets the bottle fall over or if the bottle is laid on its side in a bag it does not leak. A couple of things that I do not love about the bottle are firstly, the plastic nipple cover, as I find its shape makes it very hard to get a good grasp of when trying to remove it to feed baby. Secondly, other bottles made of glass often come with a silicone sleeve to put over the bottle in order to protect it in case it is dropped. These bottles do not come with protective sleeves, so if they are dropped they are more likely to shatter, and my baby for one likes to toss her bottle both while she is feeding as well as when she is finished with it.
