Q: How many hours after opening a bottle and transferring some amount to afeeding bottle can the left over be used without refrigerating?

  • A: Once the 2 fl oz bottle has been opened and poured into your baby’s clean bottles, both the formula in your baby’s bottles and any left in the 2 fl oz bottle should be refrigerated immediately and used within 2 days. If your baby doesn’t finish a bottle of formula within one hour, throw it away. When a baby starts drinking from a bottle, bacteria that are naturally present in your baby's mouth enter the bottle through the nipple hole. If any formula is left in the bottle after the feeding, these bacteria will grow in the leftover formula. Refrigerating the bottle and reheating it later will not stop the growth of bacteria. If the container is still sealed, try to keep it between 55 and 75 degrees F, but the acceptable temperature range is between 32 and 95 degrees F.     Fine formula

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 5 stars! These are so convenient to have on hand. We’ve used these in diaper bags when we’re on the go and need an easy feed. Our baby is exclusively formula fed and these were handy to have at night for easy feedings during the newborn stage. Once he needed more at night, we would prepare bottles but have these on hand if he was still hungry and needed a little extra. Each bottle is 2 oz. You can open the bottle and screw on an infant nipple which is super easy. Once our baby got bigger and found his preferred bottle, we just unscrew these and pour one in favorite bottles. These are great to have on hand! They have a long shelf life if unopened. Once they are opened, they are good for an hour. Happy to have received these!

Firstly I love how they are pre mixed but also the fact that the bottle is so narrow and easy for my baby to hold on her own. The consistency of the formula is perfect. I do like the fact that you can transfer the formula to a different bottle and the shelf life is 48 hours if refrigerated. Price for the quantity is also good.

    Doesn’t come with a nipple so the bottles aren’t “ready to use” Need to transport to a different bottle or find a top that fits. Evenflo bottle tops (narrow ones) worked on the bottles for us!
