Q: Can the seat and/or seat cover be removed if it is necessary to replace the seat cover?

A: Hello Sue ! I cannot specifically answer your question because we do not recover chairs, however I can tell you the following. I researched this chair and in looking at the assembly instructions I see that the chair pad is it's own individual piece. It is screwed to the chair. Therefore, down the line during the life of this product, I could see that you may have options for recovering or repairing the seat cushion itself.
