Q: My 2 cats urinate standing up so it goes high up the back & sides. My question is does this litterbox leak urine? it seems most with a attached lid leak where the top & bottom seams connect. Thanks
A: Ali, I'm guessing the entire cat box goes into a larger plastic tote with a hole cut for entry.

submitted byRosita - 5 months agoA: Yes, it does leak. The urine runs from the high back to the front then onto the floor. Had to use a plastic tote with a hole cut in to avoid this.

Q: Does this litter box have a carbon filter? If yes how can it be replaced?
A: Mine came with a carbon filter. I assume it can be replaced since it is removeable. You would just have to know the dimensions of the filter, which I don't, sorry.

Q: Can you put a litter lining bag inside the litter box before closing the top portion? What size of Johnny cat liners does this fit?
A: Disagree with staff support. Back of box very high, looks almost 2 feet high. Only way to line with liners is to put it in box and not anchor down, then cat will pull the liner down and huge mess

Q: Does it REALLY not leak? It seems some people are saying it does?
A: Yes and no. My large cat seems to spray urine on the back wall. This runs down and pools along the lip of the lower box. While this is definitely not ideal, it does not seem to leak to the outside and just stays on the lip where I wipe it off when scooping.

Q: The little plastic piece that keeps the door hanging broke, now the door won’t attach itself anymore. What should I do?
A: Good, you shouldn’t have the door on it anyway. That’s incredibly cruel.

Q: Hi, it says flip top, but does it swing in and out also?
A: Yes. It swings in and it swings out. Our cat has had no problem getting in or out with it on and seems to prefer the privacy of the door.
