It actually has nothing to do with how bright a bulb is, while lumens on the other hand, actually measure the amount of light being put out by the bulb. I actually love these. Have been using two of them for 2 weeks now, and they work perfect and are such a help for me. Can detect you from a good distance and it will turn on for a few minutes. Or you can switch it on to stay on, or switch it stay off.

This Energizer motion sensor is wonderful. I should have thought of using something like this many years ago. Always complained about carrying groceries up the basement stairs from the garage without good lighting. This is the solution. It provides enough lighting for sure. I tuck it into the corner of a step, and it works out perfectly for me and my husband. No more dropping groceries and fumbling for a light.

With brand new batteries this does not work - the light will flicker on / off. The auto option does not work. Disappointed with this purchase.

Great little sensor light! I put this in an upstairs hallway near the stairs, there's no outlet for a night light and also there's no need for a constant light to be on. This works perfectly! Sensor works great and there's plenty of light for the area needed. If wanted there's a button to turn this on for constant light or off completely. I plan to get a couple more of these for other areas around the house and the porch where a sensor light makes sense. Definitely recommend!

This light was smaller than I thought it would be, but it’s plenty bright. My daughter likes to hang out in our closet but it’s so dark in there, so I got this light for her to be able to see in there. I like the ability to be able to put it on a table or hang it on the wall, as that’s what I used. The motion sensing on this light is very good, it says 120 degrees on the package, and it senses you from about 10 feet away too. Overall a good light and worth the price.

It’s only 25 lumens on the packaging but it works as described so I will be purchasing more. Also, this light does turn on during the day in moderate lighting situations so the batteries may not last as long as desired in high traffic areas.
