Description
PurAmino is a hypoallergenic, iron fortified, amino acid-based infant formula used for infants and toddlers with severe cow's milk protein allergies, and other food allergies. It also is suitable for conditions such as protein maldigestion, malabsorption/chronic diarrhea, short bowel syndrome & eosinophilic esophagitis. It contains DHA & ARA, important fatty acid nutrients that nourish brain and eye development for your baby. PurAmino can provide a sole source of nutrition for infants up to age 6 months and provide a major source of nutrition through 24 months of age, when indicated. Normally, in feeding infants, gradual introduction of solid foods after 4–6 months of age is an important developmental as well as nutritional step. In cases of severe and multiple food allergies or intolerances, PurAmino is sometimes continued as a milk substitute in the diet of children. This and similar supplemental use of PurAmino in the diet beyond 24 months of age may make a significant contribution to maintenance of good nutrition. WARNING: Do not use a microwave oven to warm formula. Serious burns may result. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm. Once prepared, infant formula can spoil, quickly. Either feed immediately or cover and store in refrigerator at 35-40°F (2-4℃) for no longer than 24 hours. Do not use prepared formula if it is unrefrigerated for more than a total of 2 hours. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby wasn't doing very well on other formulas and we tried four different kinds before the doctor recommended he get put on this formula, I was very hesitant at first because I've never heard of it and once we got home and started trying it it was a complete 360 between how he was before and then how he was after. Let's just say it was life-changing! My baby is doing so well and is growing excellently! This product is amazing if your baby is lactose intolerant and has sensitivities to foods!

My son has a severe colic and milk protein allergy after relentlessly trying other formulas that said that they were made for his symptoms and with no relief I finally was recommended this formula and si ce my son has started drinking the formula his symptoms have cleared up and he's so much happier and calmer and much more content

My babies’ tummies are thankful. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price is so high! It’s hard to afford when you make too much for government assistance programs and private insurance won’t cover it either.

My baby was diagnosed with CMPA this formula should've been the first choice but instead we had to try alimentum didn't work well when we switched him to this it was like night and day and gave me my baby back i was amazed at the change , im concerned about the inorganic arsenic in testing but honestly i believe the pros outweigh the cons and i wouldn't know what to do had i not put all my trust into this formula
