Description

Nature’s answer to gentler infant digestion.

Hi, we’re Kendamil - proudly family-owned and crafted in Europe since 1962. For over 60 years, our team has been dedicated to raising the standards for infant formula with our signature recipes.

Kendamil Goat Infant formula is a naturally gentle formula for babies with sensitive digestive systems. Made with goat milk instead of cow’s milk, goat milk predominantly contains A2 beta-casein proteins, which match the proteins found in breast milk and have been shown to be easier to digest for sensitive babies. The A2 proteins in goat milk form smaller, softer casein curds, promoting gentler digestion. For infants experiencing digestive discomfort such as constipation, gassiness, and reflux, using goat milk formula may reduce the likelihood of these symptoms occurring, making it a natural alternative for infants with sensitive tummies.

Whole milk fats and lactose replace palm oil, soy, and corn syrups while creating a naturally creamy formula closer to breast milk and wholesome by nature.

Our award-winning formulas meet the highest standards for infant formula set forth by Europe and the United States, guaranteeing exceptional quality for your family.

Certified Vegetarian

Always consult with your healthcare professional if you have concerns that your infant is suffering from Congenital Lactase Deficiency.

Q: We are on day 5 of feeding Kendamil goat, and our 4.5-month-old has gotten worse every night, waking an hour after bed and screaming inconsolably for hours. Do we need to switch again? Every formula is the same to the pediatrician.

submitted by cr202 - 7 months ago
  • A: Are you sure its the formula? Has anything else happened recently?

submitted byRastaMama - 23 days ago
  • A: Hey new mom here to a 2 month old. We also experienced this for a few days and had to get gas relief drops for her to take a couple feedings a day. Don’t know if you tried that yet but would recommend.

submitted byKD - 7 months ago
  • A: The screaming is bc of the “well visits”….. not the formula.

submitted byJac - 5 months ago
  • A: Hi Cr202, We generally recommend a transition period of 7-14 days to allow your baby’s digestive system to completely adjust to a new formula, even if you are simply moving to another stage of the same formula brand. Gas, constipation, and fussiness are fairly common reactions to a new formula. Because of this, we recommend introducing the new formula gradually by slowly swapping bottles of the current or “old” formula with Kendamil, starting with the midday feeds first and not the feeds before bed. It can be a good idea to slowly introduce new formulas to allow for their tummy to adjust. We do recommend speaking to your healthcare professional before making any changes to your little one’s diet that you are concerned about.

Q: my daughter currently uses Kendamil Goat and they are out of stock everywhere in my area, would it be ok to substitute to Kendamil Organic?

submitted by Substituting formula - 3 months ago
  • A: Use the HotStock app to get notifications and keep an eye on shipping it to you from Target. That’s how I have been keeping on top of it. As soon as you get a notification it’s available for delivery add it to your cart and check out. You can get two at a time. This is how I’ve been able to keep up.

submitted byChristina - 3 months ago
  • A: Hi and thanks for the great question. We can help you find the best option for your family. Yes, we recommend trying Kendamil Organic or Kendamil Classic. Like all of our formulas, they are both European-made with whole milk fats - each formulated to a whey:casein ratio to closely mimic that of breast milk. Plus, all of our recipes include our unique prebiotic blend of HMOs and GOS, with the addition of FOS in our Classic formula, and EU levels of plant-based DHA and ARA.

Q: Has anyone had problems with constipation in their baby? I started giving this milk to my baby from his first week of life, he was assimilating it well but pooping once a day and it is difficult for him to poop.

submitted by Aye - 6 months ago
  • A: This is normal for formula fed babies.

submitted byBabelfish - 6 months ago
  • A: Try adding a little organic blackstrap molasses to his bottles

submitted byRastaMama - 23 days ago
  • A: We always advise parents to consult with their child's pediatrician or healthcare professional before switching baby milk or introducing formula for the first time, particularly if their baby has feeding issues. If you decide to switch, it may take a little while for your baby to adjust entirely to new baby milk. We generally recommend a transition period of 7 - 14 days, during which you can gradually introduce the new formula.

Q: Is there a way to adjust the toddler goat milk formula to make it acceptable for a 5 month old? It is the only formula he will eat and it is constantly out of stock in the infant variety!

submitted by Hungry infant - 10 months ago
  • A: Hi Hungry Infant and thanks for the question. We would not recommend giving our Toddler milk to your little one if they are under 12 months old, as the nutrients in it are specially formulated for that age group. Please reach out to our team at enquiries@kendamil.com so we can provide some individual suggestions for you and your baby, based on their needs. Hope this helps!

Q: The UK goat infant formula (0-6 months) has 0.7mg of iron, while the US formula (0-12 months) has 1.1mg of iron. Is that too much for my 2 month old? Should I purchase the UK version?

submitted by T - 5 months ago
  • A: The UK version is 0.7mg of iron per 100mL. While the US version is 1.1mg per 5 US fl oz. Converting the US version to mL would be approximately 1.1mg per 147.868mL. Being that the UK version’s ratio is 0.007mg/mL, we can then multiply by 147.868mL to obtain the amount of iron in mg. 0.007mg/mL * 147.868mL = 1.0351 mg or ~1.04mg. Seems there’s only a 0.06mg difference.

    submitted byUser1037 - 4 months ago
  • A: All of our formulas are fortified with iron and always have been as it is required to meet the growing needs of all infants. In the US the FDA requirement is that infant formula, regardless of manufacturer, should contain a minimum of 1mg per 100kcals and our Infant Goat meets this requirement at 1.1mg. I can assure you this is not 'too much', if you have any concerns please contact your pediatrician. Hope this helps!

Q: Can you refrigerate the goats milk?

submitted by LYNETTE - 11 months ago
  • A: We always advise parents to follow the NHS (National Health Service) gold standard when it comes to bottle making. They advise that you should prepare each bottle with freshly boiled water, following the directions on the can, right before feeding. Once your little one has fed from a bottle any remaining formula needs to be discarded if not consumed within 1 hour. However, in any instance where this is not possible, where you need to transport a feed (for example, to a nursery), prepare the feed at home, cool under a running tap or in a bowl of cold water, and cool it for at least 1 hour in the back of the fridge. Take it out of the fridge just before you leave and carry it in a cool bag with an ice pack, and use it within 4 hours. If you do not have an ice pack, or access to a fridge, the made-up infant formula must be used within 2 hours. If you are preparing your bottles in advance for storage at home the NHS advise the following - in a fridge – use within 24 hours, in a cool bag with an ice pack – use within 4 hours, at room temperature – use within 2 hours. If you have further questions please reach out to our team of parents at enquiries@kendamil.com .

submitted by Ep24 - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi E92 and thanks for the question, happy to help with this one. We expect that our goat milk will also transition in 2024, although this recipe has remained unchanged for a number of years and is currently enjoyed by thousands of families across the country. Our primary focus is on meeting the phenomenal demand we have seen for this product. Hope this helps clarify the matter for you, if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our team of parents at enquiries@kendamil.com who'll be happy to help.

Q: Is this formula okay for premature babies?

submitted by Ry - 1 year ago
  • A: Regarding your concern regarding our formula for premature baby, Kendamil does not have such a specialist formula. If you need an enriched formula then you will need to look for a milk that is exclusively for premature infants, or speak to your HCP about fortifying a regular baby milk. There are specialist formulas at higher nutrient levels so that a low birthweight baby can get all it needs with a minimum feed amount. Although we know our baby milk inside and out, we are not medical professionals. Please seek doctor’s advice before use. We hope this helps and thanks for your understanding.

  • A: The number one thing to do is to always consult your child's pediatrician, as they are the only ones who know your child's medical care/needs... that being said, we made the switch from enfamil to kendamil goat milk formula for our premie baby, once he was 10 days old while he was still in the NICU at the go ahead of our doctors. We wanted to feed Kendamil from day 1 but had to go a different route for a minute. My son has absolutely thrived! At 2 months he was weighing 12 pounds 12 ounces. He's 12 weeks old today, eats great, wears a size 3-6 months and sleeps 6+ hour stretches routinely. I highly recommend

submitted by TinaS - 2 years ago
  • A: while the above is correct the above study has no bearing on it's use in babies with non-IgE mediated reactions. FPIES and other CMPA are typically not IgE mediated.

Love Kendamil!! The packaging is great, I love how it also has a little lip for the spoon, so it doesn’t have to sit in the powder. This formula is light and doesn’t smell. My boys have loved this the organic.

I initially breastfed by baby but after a few months we began to struggle, so I decided to look into formula so I could combi feed. After a lot of research, I settled on the Kendamil Goat range and my baby has done so well on it. I find the formula mixes well and has a good consistency. Depending on where the formula is made, the consistency changes (we personally prefer the EU made formula with the blue circle on the bottom of the tin - it just feels a little nicer to work with) but both tins have the same result. We will continue to use Kendamol Goat until she reaches a year old and will then be weaned onto cows milk.

I had planned to combi feed to start with but grateful I’d done my research prior to their arrival as o couldn’t breast feed in the end. So glad I could find the one formula that is closest to breast milk. Would highly recommend. Despite it being dearer that other formulas I’d rather give my girls the best one available.

Fast forward Dec 2024, our little girl arrived and there was no question as to what milk we would choose for her. With both our children, I breastfed for the first 6 weeks and found that Kendamil goat milk was the best for their transition to formula, being more kind to their tummies. This milk really is the Greatest Of All Time

We decided to try Kendamil Goat Milk, and it was honestly the best decision we made. From the very first few bottles, it settled his tummy beautifully and helped him feed calmly and happily. Now, he’s 10 months old and still absolutely loving it. No issues, no fuss—just a very content, thriving little boy. It’s been such a relief for the whole family. I can’t recommend Kendamil Goat Milk enough to other parents or grandparents looking for a gentle, nourishing alternative. Thank you, Kendamil, for giving my grandson a happy start. 💛

Lots of things didnt go as expected as a first time mom, but if there was something that worked and helped was Kendmil. My baby loved this milk from the beggining and strived on it.For me as a mom that couldnt breastfeed having the best possible option as formula for my baby was peace of mind. We are on subscription for months now and the process is amaziiing. I completely rely on the system and we always get the boxes on time and its just smooth like it should be. We chose Goat as it is thought to be kinder on their digestive system and better than cow. He started on RTF cow but we swaped him straight to Goat,no fuss took the new milk straight away:) We never had colics, never had constipation and I felt so grateful to have chosen Kendamil over all the other options on the market Happy I have been recommended Kendamil and will keep recommending it further!🥰
