A: HI HSD! When transitioning from one formula to another, it is not unusual for a child to have a period of up to a week or a bit more than a week. The ingredients may be different and a child’s gastrointestinal tract needs a period of adjustment to digesting these different ingredients. Stool patterns such as frequency, color, odor and consistency may be different as your child adjusts to the new formula.
