A: Thank you for your question Cinda. Enfamil NeuroPro Gentlease has 2'-fucosyllactose, which is a prebiotic ingredient, and it is a non-GMO* infant formula (*Ingredients not genetically engineered. For more information visit Enfamil.com/nonGMO ). Enfamil Gentlease does not have the prebiotic and some of the ingredients may be from genetically engineered sources. Q: Can I give my baby gentlease (purple bottle) and the Nero pro (yellow bottle) too? I ran out of the gentlease but have the yellow bottle available.

A: We do not recommend alternating formulas back and forth due to the adjustment period that most babies go through when the formula is changed. Most pediatricians do not recommend switching formulas unless there is a specific reason that they think a baby would do better on a different formula. This was the second formula we had tried for our newborn, as the first formula gave her bad gas and was always fussy, switched to this formula thinking it would help, did the exact opposite gave her more gas & diarrhea! she was only one of for less than 2 weeks! Easy no for us.

I bought this for my baby after the hospital stay because I was not able to breastfeed my child. This product does help with gas in infants. My child never had problems with colicky gas after using this product.

I don't use it anymore after I researched and discovered its ingredients, it has a high sugar content due to corn syrup and others, it contains palm oil that is harmful to the baby's health, in my opinion I don't know why enfamil created it for babies such bad ingredients for babies

this formula was great for us when we were out with our little one and had no access to water to make a bottle, however, once opened, we could not refridgerate so it was only good for 2 hours! The whole bottle! we ended up having to throw away the whole thing as our little one eats every 3-4 hours thank goodness we were going to be home by the next feeding!

I had a few samples that were sent during my pregnancy that I saved in case we needed to switch to formula. I tried the gentlease first and my son loved it! We started with a bottle a day and slowly worked up to strictly formula and have had no issues.
