Purchase a 24 case with a expiration dates of 5/2025 It has a Very thin watery taste and also has a very strange after taste. Hope Abbott looks into this product error in there manufacturing.

I've used this frequently at home. It's easy to find and tastes good if you drink it cold. I'm a disabled senior on S/S, and I can't always afford it, but I usually can, except in early January when people on a New Years diet gobble up all the varieties AND I CAN'T FIND IT! BTW, don't put too much faith in really old reviews. Formulas change as do suppliers of ingredients, and flavors can change. Anyway, I've drunk it, the chocolate flavor is the best, IMHO and the best brand.

I've been buying this for quite a long time now. I like the chocolatey flavor and the fact that it has high protein. I do wish it came in Dark Chocolate, but I always buy this High Protein Chocolate because it has the qualities I look for... ie, high protein, low sugar, great taste - and doesn't bother my stomach (I suffer from Lactose problems). I also like the twist-off top!

My doctor told me to drink Ensure. I have a low immune system. The High Protein with low calories is the best for me. I get the protein without gaining weight. I drink 2 a day. I sure would help if I had coupons to help me with my budget.

I bought a box of 12 Ensure Vanilla High Protein shakes yesterday. When I opened the first one, my lips were immediately barraged by slimy chunks. Thinking one may have just gone bad, I poured it out and opened another, only to find more chunks. Looked at the expiration on the box, says Dec 2022. I don't think this is normal and I'm hearing from friends who also drink this brand that they have been having similar experiences.

I am very pleased with the product. I have never been able to drink protein drinks cause of the after taste they all had. I put mine in the freezer after shaking very well and let it get icy and it tastes just like a milk shake. Very pleased with these new drinks.

These protein shakes are much more compact than most, which makes them easier to drink. I also find that they don't mess with my digestion (like pretty much all other protein shakes do). The flavor is pleasant, though I would say it's not quite as good as some of the other ensure products. I think this one has a little more of an artificial taste to its sweetness, but nowhere near as much as most other protein shakes. I'll be honest that there are always chunks in these (must be something to do with the formula), so you should shake them really well. No amount of shaking will get rid of them all so keep that in mind if texture bothers you. I personally am not bothered by chunks so it's not an issue for me. Overall, this is a good product and it's one of the only 2 protein shakes I will drink.

So as before I haven’t had a problem, but this last one I got and the one before been having chunks in them I thought it was a strawberry chunk and sad to say it was a slime ball but it does it’s jobs and satisfies your hunger at times when I’m working 11 hours

We’ve been tasting chunks in our ensure - so this morning after shaking, I poured it through a strainer into a glass. I captured 10-15 cottage-cheese like chunks. Ewe. There’s nothing worse than trying to drink something and feeling slimy chunks in it! It may be a matter of how the ingredients mix when shaken - but Ingredients shouldn’t be so difficult to mix that a person can’t do it with a reasonable amount of shaking. Sometimes it even seems the more i shake the worse the chunks actually get. I would definitely recommend and give higher stars based on nutrients alone - but had to give it low stars because of the recent change in consistency.

I ordered a box of High Protein Vanilla Ensure and was too excited to wait for them to get cold in the fridge when i got home so i opened one up and proceded to drink it, but quickly noticed the chunks that were mixed with the liquid. I thought something might be wrong with that one so i poured it out and threw it away. Only to find that the next one I opened also had chunks in it. This drink is way too expensive to throw away and I knew they werent bad so i kept the box, but am highly dissappointed that I have to now have the courage to muster the chunks if i want to drink the Ensure. Ive had the box for about 3 month now.

Im a fairly new customer I’ve been buying ensure consistently for about 3 months. I bought a 12 pack the other day and was very disappointed to find clumps of protein drink all through the drink not just but all were chunky. Hopefully your company can resolve the issues I would hate to have to find a new company. Your products come highly recommended but if the product is not up to code it shouldn’t be marketed.

Clumps despite shaking

My father bought a 6 pack home and I pooped one into the fridge for my morning work shift since I rarely eat breakfast. Upon shaking it vigorously after getting it to work, I was met with large, slimy clumps. I recapped the bottle and shook it some more but still had a plethora of clumps and couldn’t finish the bottle. They aren’t expired but I don’t think I’ll be drinking the rest of the batch. It seems like this is a consistent problem with the high and max protein variants of the shake so there’s obviously something that needs to be tweaked with the formula. I feel bad because my father wasted money that he couldn’t used to buy the regular formula instead.
