I love the taste and the nutritional value! I was expecting a not so flavorful taste because of the high protein. I was pleasantly surprised that this protein drink tastes great! I didn’t give it a 5 because it doesn’t blend well. I like to blend my protein drinks and powders with a piece of banana and crushed ice, but this Max Protein gets all airy (looks like suds on top). I tried blending the banana and ice first and kinda whipping the drink in, but that yielded the same results.

Decades ago as caregivers we had made Ensure Strawberry floats for our beloved mother. In our family, throughout many years Ensure remains an awesome generational choice.

I am only drinking this because I have had abdominal surgery and am on a liquid diet. My father was a Ross Rep and detailed this product. He was all for it's nutritional value and thought it was a good product. I have to disagree. I have supported Abbott products all my life, but this is one of the worst nutritional products I have tasted. It tastes like artificial sugar, because it is. The after taste is almost overwhelming because it lingers and is too sweet. Removal of the sucralose and the replacement with a little sucrose would go a long way to improving this and making it more palatable.

The only flavor I buy is Cafe Mocha. Very filling and gives me energy especially when I'm trying to maintain a balanced diet since I eat no red meat or pork and I don't like to cook. I wish you could provide an option for this Max flavor with "no caffeine" as well.

I typically buy the Vanilla and Strawberry flavors, and they're delicious. But my rating is such because the Strawberry containers CONTINUOUSLY leak after opening. I'd always have to turn the container a certain way or pour it into a cup to avoid it spilling all over me. I, unfortunately, had to learn the hard way while at work, the strawberry shake spilled down the front of my shirt and was a pain to clean. It was an embarrassing mess. Please, please fix this flaw. I have not encountered this with any other flavor.
