I was really excited to find that EOS came out with a lip balm that has SPF, but I don’t love it. It leaves a white cakey film on your lips. The application is far from smooth, it feels chalky. I will be sticking to the original EOS balms over this.

I like the scent and flavor, but it was very hard and waxy. Difficult to apply. Not smooth or creamy at all. Doesn’t glide on.

The bright colors of the tube scream "summer" and make it easier to locate the lip balm when digging around in my purse. I often forget about SPF for my lips when I'm outside in the summer, so I appreciate being able to have a good balm with SPF in it. The texture is a little grainy when you first apply it, but once you rub your lips together the graininess goes away. Be sure to only use a single light swipe though because it DOES leave a white film on your lips, so a light swipe will keep the film minimal. (The white film is why it only gets 4 stars.)

I used it when my lips were pretty chapped so the white cast was very noticeable and wasn’t flattering, when I used it and didn’t have chapped lips the white cast wasn’t very noticeable though. Another thing I noticed was that the actual chapstick got stuck after pushing it out. When I try to unwind it back in the product doesn’t go back in so you have to push it back. Overall I think this will be nice in the summer for pool or beach days to avoid getting sunburnt lips and it has a pleasant smell.

The pineapple coconut scent is tropical and refreshing without being overpowering—it instantly gives me summer vibes. The formula is smooth, glides on easily, and feels super moisturizing without being sticky or heavy. One thing to note: when I first apply it, it does leave a noticeable white cast on my lips. It fades after a few minutes or with some blending, but it’s definitely something to be aware of if you're applying it on the go or layering it over other lip products. Packing was fine just a bit plain jane! That said, the SPF 15 is a huge plus, especially for sunny days or outdoor activities. I’d rather deal with a slight white tint than risk sunburned lips especially since I work outside in the summer! Overall, it’s a great lip balm with sun protection—just wish it went on a bit clearer!

The one thing I don't like about this product is I feel like it leaves a white cast on my lips. But with the amount of spf it has I don't mind. I just put a cute gloss on top. I used this on my trip to AZ in crazy heat and I'm glad my lips were safe from the sun.

I tested it on skin first and the white cast goes away when you rub it in for some time but it is unpleasant to rub into the lips. The scent is waxy and not coconut pineapple. It leaves the lips soft and provides protection but I can’t see myself wearing this in public.

I really like the smell and the fact it has spf. Doesn't feel thick or sticky on my lips either. The only downside, is it does feel a little gritty while applying. As if it's exfoliating. I like it, will buy again for the spf alone.

This is like a thick, white, pasty gluestick. It doesn't melt, and will hold up in your beach bag.. but good lord, it is not pleasant. Felt like my lips were stuck together. Took forever to blend in. Love other products from this brand, but this spf chapstick ended up in the trash

I found the SPF coconut on sale while I was running errands at my local grocery store. I had to have it. I love coconut flavored lip balm/gloss. While this stuff is thick, it's incredibly moisturizing. There's no shine, so I use another lip balm or a lip gloss on top of it. It's better than most SPF lip balms on the market, which either leave a really white cast, or don't provide a lot of moisture. The coconut adds a pleasant scent to it. Best of all? There's no mineral oil, no parabens, no phthalates, no other added chemicals. I've been using EOS lip balms for years, and they are worth every penny.
Not the best option.
