The new Ergobaby Metro 3 stroller has been great for quick trips to the grocery store and for doctor’s appointments. It is my only stroller and I have a 6 week old that has been using the stroller since he was about 3 weeks old. My baby seems to enjoy the ride, he falls asleep in it fairly quickly. So far, my experience with this stroller has been great, but it has its drawbacks. The pros: - has a nice compact fold that doesn’t take up space in my trunk - the nearly flat recline allows him to sleep comfortably - ease of closing the stroller is super convenient - I’m 5’2” and I appreciate the adjustable handlebar a lot - comfortable padded seat - no rethread harness - easy to buckle and unbuckle baby in and out - stroller wheels go over gravel, grass, and dirt pretty easily without getting stuck - I like the feel of the handlebar, it’s designed well for a comfortable grip - the canopy wicks away water and I love how far it extends - the storage basket holds a decent amount of things The cons: - wish it came with the belly bar instead of having to purchase it separately - opening the stroller isn’t the easiest for me (mainly due to my height), I feel like I have to really lift high and yank it hard in order for it to fully click and open into position and the joints where it’s supposed to unfold gets stuck sometimes and I’m afraid I might break it - the stroller is designed to be newborn ready with panels in the leg rest. Which is great when I have the baby in the stroller for a while, but it’s not very practical to keep putting it together and taking it apart when I have to take the stroller in and out of the car for quick trips, errands, and appointments. Keeping the newborn panels together prevents the stroller from folding with ease. You have to undo the buttons, pull the Velcro apart, and put the panels back into the leg rest before closing the stroller which takes some time. Although, I won’t need the newborn panels for much longer as my baby gets older. Overall, the strollers pros out weigh the cons in my personal experience, so I can’t complain. I have yet to experience the stroller more as my baby grows from infant to toddler. I don’t have any other stroller to compare it to, so for it being my only stroller, I love it.

I bought this for my daughter, who used it yesterday for the first time with my grandson. POSITIVES: She loves how light it is and how easy it is to open/close. All the vents are amazing to ensure air flow. POTENTIAL IMPROVEMENTS: Would be great if the handle bar could be moved back and forth so that you can have the baby facing forward or facing you while moving. This is a BIG ISSUE for her as he's still small and should be facing his mommy while in the stroller. This issue may make her return it. I didn't realize that when I ordered it. Also, she wishes the storage bin was larger; makes it difficult to place her baby bag (a back pack) in the bin; she had to carry it the whole time while at the park. She also said that because my grandson is below 20 pounds, it's easy to "pop a wheelie," if you're not careful. Otherwise loves it. I ordered a couple more accessories so am hoping she decides to keep it!

We originally bought this to use as a travel stroller when flying, but it’s quickly become our out and about stroller because it is lightweight and my 5 month old loves it. It’s very sturdy, and we love the gigantic canopy and the ability to lay the seat flat so she can nap. Sometimes the mechanism for dropping the seat can stick, but my kiddo doesn’t seem to care at all. Highly recommend!

As far as folding, carrying and pushing this stroller is amazing. It pushes amazingly even compared to my very expensive stroller. It folds nicely and is the handle is great for carrying. The downfall is it is awful to unfold!! It definitely takes me two hands and a leg to unfold(yes I’m doing it right). The buttons to push are so hard and the long one never engages correctly. If you get past that it’s a great stroller.

It's a nice stroller, but it's not easy to use. It takes two hands to open and collapse down. The buttons stick and the handle is so wide that I can't do both mechanisms with one hand. Materials are nice, it's just not as easy to use as advertised.
The stroller is great however

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this travel stroller. First of all, it folds and unfolds so easily, and the carry handle is the best feature. I have another larger travel system and I really dislike having to add all the attachments and seats, so for me being able to pick up and carry around this stroller all on my own is a huge perk. It doesn’t take up your entire trunk either! The materials of this stroller are so nice. The leather handle is soft to hold on to, and the seat material is probably the highest quality I’ve seen on any stroller. Both my 10 month old and my 3 year old sit comfortably in it. The seat is so roomy which is great for my toddler, but my baby also likes it because he has room for toys to sit beside him! The buckle is very easy to adjust back and forth between sizes for multiple kids. The sunshade can extend very far down which is great for naps, and I can recline the seat easily without waking up my baby. What I like the most is how smooth this stroller pushes, and how narrow the back wheels are. I also really like that the pedal to lock the wheels show as red when they are locked. It makes it so easy to see by a glance whether they are locked or not. We’ve used this stroller quite a bit already and home and are planning to take it with us to Disneyland in the spring. I know it will make our trip so much easier! Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving us this stroller to try out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel (thank you!) and immediately loved how quick and easy it was to open right out of the box. Even closing it could be done with one hand which is key when holding a toddler with the other. It folds up pretty compact and we are easily able to tuck it away in a corner of our apartment without feeling like it’s getting in the way. It also fits in the trunk of our car with plenty of room to spare. At 16.9 pounds, it’s lightweight and easy to carry. I would have loved if it had a shoulder strap but it’s not a deal breaker as it does have a handle. The stroller comes in a sleek black color with enough padding to keep my son super comfortable for extended walks. It also has a sun shade that comes down very low to really protect my toddler during inclement weather and intense sun. The shade has a mesh vent flap to allow for air circulation and so you can easily keep an eye out on your child in the stroller as well. When at a museum recently, my two year old fell asleep and we were able to conveniently put him in a fully reclined position in the stroller which spared us from having to carry him the entire time. The undercarriage also has enough space to hold groceries, a child’s backpack, and then some. The maneuverability was also very smooth which is key when walking on bumpy city sidewalks. Ergobaby is a trusted brand and I’ve used their baby carrier in the past as well. Overall would highly recommend this stroller as it’s the perfect size for city living and travel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used many strollers in our household, and this is one of the best. The Ergobaby Metro 3 Stroller is a perfect combination of sturdy, affordable, and mobile. It truly opens and collapses with one hand, fits into a plane overhead compartment and a small sedan trunk, and is a roomy seat for my tall 3-year-old or 9-month-old. I loved that the seat can be adjusted to sit close to upright as well as lay flat for naps on the go. While it has a small frame to be travel friendly, it has a generous zipper pocket in the back that can hold wipes and some diapers as well as a small undercarriage storage area. The leather handle and fabric seats appear durable and didn't have visible scratches after many car rides and one plane trip. Since it has small wheels, it struggles through dirt and mud as expected, but is surprisingly smooth on gravel and small bumps. If this stroller were to be improved, it would be a bit lighter (17 pounds gets heavy fast), there would be a shoulder strap instead of just a briefcase style hand strap, and the brake clip would be easier to activate and deactivate. The 5-point seat belt strap is also difficult to align, but this seems to be the standard style for travel strollers. All in all, I love this stroller and think it can serve as a primary stroller for both everyday and travel purposes due to its medium size and smooth suspension. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me this stroller to test!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wowzers, I've been on the lookout for the perfect travel stroller for years and can honestly say, I've finally found THE PERFECT TRAVEL STROLLER! I love, love, LOVE this stroller and it's making traveling with a little so much easier; here are a few reasons why: Pros- -Easy fold and unfold. Truly one handed (many companies claim to be but they're not) -There is a QR Code for those moments when you've forgotten how to fold/unfold the stroller, right on the handlebar! So clever. -Super lightweight and compact, I store it in the back seat of my car for quick access at our destination -There is a handle bar on the seat for easy carrying -The stroller folds down nearly flat for napping on the go -The upright position is fully erect and no weird angles for the kiddos -Comfy padded seats, with room to spare, my kiddos were super comfy and didn't want to get out of the stroller -The Bassinet feature is amazing! I love not having to use extra attachments in order to convert it. -Generous basket space, perfect for traveling -Snack bar add on (a must for toddlers) -Stands up right when folded (so many others fall) -Great mid-range price point with high end feel -Ships already together with no assembly needed, hello extra time saved! and my FAVORITE feature of all, the extendable sunshade! As a mom of light skinned kiddos, this feature is a must. I don't have any negative things to say about this stroller, finally someone has perfected the travel stroller. Don't walk, run to buy this, you certainly won't regret it. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to review this perfect travel stroller. We're in love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Ergobaby Metro 3 Stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it is great! I have an (almost) 18 month old baby that loves rides around the neighborhood and park. This stroller is compact, lightweight, and has a sleek, minimalist design. The fabric is soft and my toddler seemed very comfortable during her rides. The flat recline feature has been great on long walks that always seem to put her to sleep, and the extendable sunshade has protected her eyes and face on our afternoon walks in the neighborhood. The best feature of the Ergobaby Metro 3 Stroller is that it is extremely compact when folded (which is a breeze to do with the one-hand fold feature!) but it is still a full size stroller with plenty of room in the storage basket. Juggling three small children, a stroller, and a few items from the store is often a challenge, but I have been so impressed with how easy it is to fold and unfold this stroller - I no longer look like I am fighting a bear in the store parking lot. I am also still amazed every time we use the stroller at how lightweight it is. We travel often by car, but as a family of five, we pack a lot in our vehicle for trips. In the past we have struggled to find room for our strollers because they have always been big and bulky. The Ergobaby Metro 3 Stroller is so incredibly compact - we have no problem finding space for it in our vehicle. We have used this stroller so many times and I have yet to find something that I don’t like. The wheels have been fantastic on many different types of terrain and it provides such a smooth ride. I have found my new favorite stroller. This really is a wonderful stroller and great for families needing a compact, lightweight, full size stroller. This is a stroller that won’t feel like a chore to take out for errands or trips - it will make your life so much easier (and your baby happy). Thanks again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the Ergobaby Metro 3 Stroller to try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of an 8-month-old and a 2.5-year-old, I’ve gone through my fair share of strollers – we currently own four! This stroller has become our go-to for travel and keeping in the car, and I can’t recommend it enough. The biggest selling point is how lightweight and compact it is when folded. It’s easy to fit in the truck of my car while still leaving room for other items. Despite its small size, it still manages to pack in a lot of features for the comfort of both kids and parents. My favorite feature is the extra-large sunshade. The sunshade provides better coverage than most full-size strollers and is more sun coverage than any other travel stroller that I’ve seen. Another feature is the height-adjustable handle. As a shorter mom, this stroller adjusts perfectly, making it comfortable to push for hours without straining my back. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I can't thank them enough for introducing me to this stroller. I have tried multiple strollers, the first we got broke apart into two pieces to store in the car and took up our entire trunk when packed away. I looked for something more compact, but that may be able to accommodate two kids since I have one (1.5 year old) and we were trying for a second. The second stroller was longer, but surprisingly fit better in our trunk and was in one piece. I feel like goldilocks, looking for the perfect stroller. In comes the Ergobaby Metro 3 Stroller. I have heard of Ergobaby but never had their products before. The number one factor for me was something that was comfortable but still compact. We are looking to travel out of the country soon and I wanted to get something we can bring on a plane. This stroller was perfect! First it came in one piece - this made storage in the car a cinch and it took up half the space of my current stroller. It's very intuitive to get standing and break down with one hand. My only gripe is you do need to have a strong grip to get it back down with one hand. I've found myself still using two hands so I can properly hit the button on both sides. It was less intuitive for me (meaning I had to look at instructions) on how to get the seat to go from a reclined seat to a more standard seat. As soon as I had the seat set up my toddler immediately climbed up into the seat and sat there while he watched a show - I would call that a win! He loved playing with the buckles and I thought they were easy to get on. I like the sun cover and the peekaboo cover in the back so I can see him still. We live in Texas so the sun is a huge reason why we limit his walks in the summer. The fabric feels very cushioned but breathable which is nice, my baby seemed comfortable enough to sit there on his own. The wheel lock button felt hard for me to get down but that could just be a me thing since I went to move it last night and my toddler had locked the wheels on his own. He loves pushing it around the house. That leads me to the wheels which are AMAZING! they glide nicely and seem to be able to handle terrain well. We have uneven sidewalks here and I didn't have an issue walking. I haven't tested it enough to see if my toddler will sleep in it yet (I'm hoping he will when we travel) but it seems comfy enough for him to endure. Now to my wishes - which may just be additional items I have to buy. I know for sure there is a drink holder you can add - I will definitely get that as I miss that compared to my other stroller. I'm not sure if there's an option for a snack tray for toddlers - if there is I need that as well because that will keep him comfortable. I saw there is a bag for traveling and I will get that too. These are some things that would have been nice to be included but I'm glad they are at least additional options to buy. There is no downsides of the actual stroller itself. This will 100% be my new go-to stroller if for nothing else for the comfort and compactness of it all. I will be welcoming another baby here soon so I look forward to using an attachment for the infant carrier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am very grateful I did. I was on the fence about the need for a compact stroller to use when we travel and this stroller has convinced me it is a necessity not only for travel but also for regular daily use. The one handed fold feature is definitely clutch for when I am alone with the baby. I can have the baby in one hand and easily open the stroller with the other. My favorite features of the Ergobaby Metro 3 are the extendable sunshade (as it provides extra shade and coverage for the baby) and the ability to fully recline the seat. Not only can the seat fully recline but you can also turn the seat into a bassinet allowing the baby to rest (fyi it is very easy to fully recline and lift the seat back up and it is also easy to set up and tear down the bassinet). There is also a peep through window in the back while the seat is fully reclined so you can constantly see your baby as you push the stroller. I love this because I always want to be able to see that my baby is okay. The stroller also folds down well so i can easily fit it in the hatchback trunk of the car. With all the baby gear we have acquired since having the baby storage space in the house is now running low, but fortunately the Metro 3 is so compact I was able to find a small space between the couch and the wall to store it. I have enjoyed using the Metro 3 with my 4 month old so far on errands and look forward to all the adventures we will be able to have in the future as we travel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this stroller and the ease of design for an on-the-go mom like myself. My favorite way to store this stroller is in my car. I never leave the house without it. I keep this stroller in the back of my van for everyday use. It’s compact, barely takes up space, and allows me to store other mommy things! It did take a small learning curve to open, but now that I have the hang of it it’s a quick movement and I’m ready to be on my way. A huge positive was the one-handed fold when it was time to pack up. The ease of getting it ready to run an errand or simply go for a walk is unmatched. I even enjoyed the mobility of the wheels and the all-terrain feel they have while strolling with my mommy walk friends. They even commented on how luxurious it looked and the smooth ride it seemed to have. I can't wait to take this on trips when traveling too because of the quick fold and compact ability. With this stroller, I never questioned if my child was comfortable because of the lovely padding and flat recline options. Perfect for in a pinch need when my toddler needs a rest. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me the opportunity to try such a great compact and versatile stroller!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is one particular feature of this stroller that far exceeds that of its competitor models, the canopy on this stroller has so much depth and coverage!! Not only does it block out wind and sun completely if desired, it actually stays put when you pull back the canopy just halfway. It also has a magnetic peekaboo panel to check on your LO or give them extra ventilation. The second feature I really appreciate is the luxurious feel and padding including the comfort of the straps for my LO. The harness has shoulder padding that actually wraps around my LO's shoulder and doesnt slide off the harness every time I unbuckle it. The padding is comfortable enough that my LO seems to enjoy the ride even more, that may also speak to the suspension on this stroller. I also appreciated the versatility of this stroller, how flat it reclines to form a makeshift bassinet. It's easy to modify between a 1 yo and 1 month old! The only gripe I had with the reclining function is that when I pull the strap to sit the seat back up, there is a part that 8/10 times gets stuck somewhere. I have to physically move some fabric out of the way so that the seat fully comes back up. My 1 yo is taller and the canopy provides sufficient clearance for him and I expect it'll continue to as he grows. The legrest also moves to angles that he seems to find comfortable. The one hand fold unfold feature is pretty awesome but I'm not going to lie, it takes practice. The first several times, I couldn't figure out why once the stroller opened up, it wouldn't lock into place. I think over time my husband and I figured it out, but it wasn't really a one hand feature every time. I don't love the brake step lock. It works well but when you have to release the brake, you have to use your foot to lift the lever back up hard. You get used to it though. It's not a step lever like you have on some other strollers. This stroller is by far the most luxurious and versatile compact stroller I've used between different baby toddler stages. It's not the lightest stroller on the market to travel with, but it's also the one I'd choose to take if I knew my LO would be sitting in it for longer periods of time because it's so well padded and again that canopy blocks out so much sun and wind. I haven't taken it on a flight yet, but will be doing so in a few months and I look forward to it. I think it should be pretty smooth to take it on board and get into the overhead bin but we'll see. In the meantime it stands so nicely in the closet, a corner of a room, in the car trunk, wherever I need it to be. The wheels also sort of lock into place so it stays neat and doesn't topple over. It doesn't come with a stroller bar for my LO to hold onto and I thought he'd hate that but it didnt seem to bother him much. Maybe he find this stroller seat more comfortable and secure where he doesnt feel the need to grab a bar, not sure. I sort of missed having one though. Thats usually what I grab to lift up folded strollers to stow in my car, and without that bar, I'm not really sure where to lift the stroller when trying to one hand it. My husband and I have a pretty big height difference, but the adjustable handlebar made it a convenient push for us both. We also noted that this stroller feels more stable when we have to get it up and down a curb. The undercarriage is spacious enough, but the opening is a little small in the back so if you want to get your diaper bag in there, you're better off loading it in from the front. I wish the stroller would come with a snack tray, parent cup/phone holder, and a travel bag for the stroller, but it looks like those are accessories you can purchase separately. All in all, a truly versatile stroller that keeps luxury features and lightweightedness in balance. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. One of my favorite things about this stroller is how smooth it feels while pushing. It's very easy to maneuver, even in crowded spaces. I also loved how sleek the stroller looked and all the features felt well made and high-quality. The padded seat in particular seems especially comfortable for my little one to sit in for extended amount of time. One major flaw I found with this stroller was that it was very difficult to open. The mechanism requires holding a button with your thumb while gripping the handle and applying a lot of upward force. As someone who isn't very tall, I struggled with this process because it felt like I had to almost raise my arms above shoulder level to get the stroller to lock in place. On the other hand, folding it down was very easy, and I was surprised by how compact it became when it was folder. The brakes were another minor detail that made the stroller a little cumbersome. To disengage the brake, you have to lift the stiff brake pedal up with your foot. As someone who usually wears sandals, this was pretty hard to do. Overall, I really enjoyed this stroller and my little one had no trouble being in it for extended amount of time. But I am unsure how often I can use it on my own since it is so difficult to open for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I received this stroller as part of the Stellar Testing Panel. The stroller itself was actually a little bigger/heavier than I initially expected but in a good way. It was still lightweight but it had a feeling of quality with how sturdy it felt. It has been convenient to take in and out of the car with the attached handle. The true one hand fold has been one of the best things about this stroller. It allows me to carry my toddler and still have the ability to open or close the stroller as needed. Having a car withe a smaller trunk, the compact fold of the stroller definitely allows for better usage of my trunk. My one wish was that it would fold up just slightly more compact as I am unsure if this would pass in all air cabin bins. Even though the stroller is meant to be compact it does not sacrifice storage space in the under carriage which I think is the most practical aspect about the stroller. The under carriage is also easily accessible and holds up to a little over 20lbs which is amazing to carry all the stuff that you need (i.e. groceries, backpack, blankets, jackets, etc). Another thing that I loved was the near flat recline of the stroller. The seat itself is padded which gives alot of comfort to the kids already and combining it with the near flat recline makes stroller napping a game changer. My child loved sitting in the stroller and the extendable canopy makes going out in the sun easier as it provides a good amount of coverage. The one thing I think could improve would be the brake button is a little hard to disengage but other than that this stroller checks off all the boxes for a compact all around stroller. It has all wheel suspension to make strolls smooth, large canopy to protect from the sun, lay flat seating for wide range of birth-toddler, large under carriage storage, one hand fold, lightweight, and easy to push. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that does not want a bigger stroller for their everyday needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just in time for a two-day trip to the Rochester Strong Museum of Play with an almost 2 year old, the Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me the Ergobaby Metro 3 Stroller to try out. When I received the package, I was surprised at how small it was. Out of the box, the stroller was completely put together already, making it a breeze to open up and start strolling. Assembly/Disassembly: SO EASY! Press the 2 buttons in the right combination and boom, it’s up and ready. And just as simple to disassemble. The description stated the folding could be done with one hand, and that may be so for some people, but I found it much easier to just use both hands to open and close it. Movement: The stroller navigates easily, turns smoothly. I was impressed with how it was able to maneuver in the street, especially on a snow-covered sidewalk and road. The push bar was comfortable to hold on to for the entire day out. Comfort: The fabric is soft and comfortable. The seat had enough padding. The sunshade canopy is nice to keep sun, rain, or snow out (yes, we tested in the snow!), and has a little window to be able to still keep an eye on the back of the head. Recline: I tried testing out the flat back during naptime, but rather than sleeping, the little one just wanted to lounge, and seemed very comfortable doing so in that position on the stroller. Storage Space: Just looking at the space underneath the stroller, it appears to be enough for a diaper bag and some other items, however this was one area that didn’t quite live up to what I need in a stroller. There is a bar (probably completely necessary for the structure of the stroller) that prevented me from being able to place the diaper bag normally under the seat. I had to flatten the bag and then stuff it in there, pushed down by her feet. Then I couldn’t unzip or zip it while underneath, but had to remove it each time I wanted something. If you travel light though, this shouldn’t be a big issue. Additionally, there is a small zippered pocket on the back, just big enough to store some money or similar items. Portability: It doesn’t weigh enough to make it a burden to carry. In fact, it was no problem for two adults to carry the assembled stroller, with toddler still strapped in, up a set of stairs. Once disassembled, there is a handle to make carrying easy. It fit nicely in the back of my van and didn’t take up too much space at all.
