Q: What are the safety ratings? EMF and anything else that might be considered unhealthy. What is the type of wood, and is it treated?

A: The emf is smaller than that of a mobile phone. The wood inside is log without any treatment and the outside is varnished.

Not the item pictured!
This item listed incorrectly. I have informed Target but it still hasn’t been corrected. The item you receive is not the one in the picture, it is the smaller cheaper version. You can see the very clear differences on the manufacturers website if you wish. To make matters worse, it is VERY difficult to return the item that weighs 140lbs and is in a HUGE box that will not fit in a vehicle. Target was no help in getting this corrected, I had to figure out how to handle the return on my own. If Target lists this item for sale on their website they should be more helpful with an issue. Not happy!
