Essential Zip Tote Handbag - Universal Thread™

I bought this tote bag on a whim to replace a bulky bag I’d been using. It’s perfect for my job. I see home hospice patients and this bag fits my work tablet, a notebook, stethoscope, various supplies and a box of gloves. Lots of storage space and roomy pockets. I’ve had it for almost a year and it’s held up very well. No tears or snags at all. I highly recommend.

Perfect tote bag for a college student! I was against tote bags until I tried this one. Comfortable and expandable! Put flat items on the bottom if you want it to stand up on its own!! I love this for everyday!!

I was not a tote person, but started looking for 'the one' a few years ago. I bought several - Madewell canvas, Portland leather, Bagsmart canvas, Baggu cloud. Each type has its pros and cons. I'm very picky about size, weight, and function. Baggu and Bagsmart came the closest. Bagsmart was super functional but I didn't like the handles being a big too wide, and canvas is a little bulky and heavy for me. Baggu was lightweight and comfortable, but the handles slipped off too easily, and it was just a smidge too large. This Universal Thread tote was what I wished Baggu would be for me. I love the size and shape of the tote. I also realized I like having lining in my tote (UT tote is lined with a built-in internal zip pocket; Baggu is unlined and has a removable zip pouch). I also prefer the handles on the UT tote. The strap drop is slightly longer and is easier to slip on and off my shoulder, and the extra stitching down the middle of the straps gives it a sturdiness and slight grip that helps it from slipping off my shoulders (Baggu cloud tote straps a slightly puffy and slip off my shoulders constantly). The price is a steal compared to Baggu. I'm tempted to buy another just to keep as backup just in case this tote gets discontinued.

I searched many sites for the perfect travel bag that had: zipper closure, outside and inside pockets, sturdiness, not too big or too small, straps that comfortably fit on my shoulder and was the color black. I found it and at an excellent price. Highly recommended!

The straps slip alot, but the bag has held up after 4 months. I wish there were more colors.

Last year I spent $120+ on a fancy black work bag with tons of pockets . . . and then I got a new job and a new laptop that was one inch too big to fit in the bag. Lesson learned, I'm not spending $$ on a laptop bag again. This bag fit the bill perfectly. It's simple (no hardware), lightweight, has an outside slip pocket for papers or phone, an inside zip pocket and plenty of space for my Macbook Pro plus lots of other items (books/magazines/notebooks). It would make a great purse for plane travel as well--that extra item they let you take besides your carry-on. I was a bit confused by its description as "canvas" when it clearly looks like nylon. Here's the deal: It's textured like canvas but made of nylon. Looks very durable fabric-wise, and I won't stress about spilling on it or getting it dirty. The handles are flat and padded, very comfortable. My only slight issue with this bag is that due to the canvassy texture, the handles make a lot of noise when you move. It's not a dealbreaker (especially at this price point), but a sleeker nylon, more like 90s Prada bag feel, would eliminate this.

I really like the size and style of this bag. It's very functional. Unfortunately it already ripped after light use for a couple months.

Perfect size bag for work. Not too fancy like most work bags. Can also be used as a purse to run errand. Great price and also great material.

Best go to bag of me this moment Not canvas that black color can get faded over each use. (I have natural and light color canvas tote) Sealed and delivered fast! 1 zipped compartment inside. 1 zipper And easy access compartment in the front. Nothing complicated but will do the job for 20. If this company use the recycle fabric and provide new or natural color. I will buy them all

Extremely lightweight and feels water repellent and it’s just great to use for any occasion whether it be for work or my sons stuff when we go out

I bought this bag to carry documents to avoid them getting dirty, and wow. It holds so much stuff!!! I was so surprised at the quality. I am very happy with my purchase and will be using this for many outings.
