Q: Does this same formula/product come in something that is not in a tub? Don't like the unsanitary factor to tubs.
submitted by sunvsmoon - 2 years ago
A: This exact product comes in a smaller tube so better than a tub. It also comes in cream form in a small bottle (pour) and big bottle with pump. Target sells both I think.

Q: can I use it for my face ?
submitted by Lathy - 2 years ago
A: Hi Lathy, Yes, our Eucerin Original Healing Cream can be used on the face; it's non-comedogenic so it won't clog pores. It's ideal for very dry skin on the hands and body as well.

Thick paste doesn't soak in

Terrible stuff. Less a cream than a thick paste. It doesn't spread well, and it definitely does not soak in. It leaves a thin film of greasiness everywhere. That thin film rubs off on your clothes, your sheets, your car door, or whatever else you happen to brush up against. I had hoped to find a replacement for lubriderm extra dry since they changed their formula, but this is definitely not it. The best use I can see for it would be slathering on your feet at night and then putting on thick socks that you plan to wash right away, since they will be greasy and disgusting inside.

I was having a horrible eczema flareup and was unable to get to the dermatologist. After watching a few TikTok videos, this product was recommended by some of the dermatologist that I follow. I noticed results after the first use. It’s not greasy and I would suggest you wait a few minutes before putting on your clothes so it fully absorbs into the skin and if you can use it right out of the shower while your skin is still damp that’s a plus. Highly recommend I will never be without this product.

This is a product I have used for years. The tub is big so it lasts a long time. It’s the only thing that’s helped my dry hands.

This is an awesome lotion. I have medical issues with my legs and in the process they become very dry. This fixes the problem.

For 50 years I’ve used Eucerin Original Crème. It has helped me with extremely dry skin that would crack and bleed in the winter. That Advanced Healing stuff is so gooey and icky sticky that I end up washing it off about 10 minutes after putting it on. So my cracked and bleeding hands hurt even more! Whoever is responsible for taking the Original Crème off the market must not suffer from extremely dry, cracked and bleeding skin. My skin is ok in the warmer months but I still used Eucerin Original all year around to keep it ok.

This is the thickest, richest cream I’ve ever used. It immediately relieves the eczema on my neck, softens my feet, and locks in moisture throughout my whole body. Its versatility and effectiveness have rendered it a staple in my home.

Nothing is better for dry winter feet than this. NOTHING. Even the Eucerin creamy body lotion—which I love—doesn’t quite do the trick. Be warned—it takes a while to absorb! I put on socks right away and my feet are like a baby’s skin when I take them off hours later.

Can't believe I never tried this. My skin has been going haywire this winter. Dry rough eczema patches and nothing was helping. I noticed a difference overnight and it keeps getting better. My rough patches are very soft and lightening up. This cream is very thick but I find that if you take a little and warm in your hands first, it's easier. My skin soaks this up and I personally don't experience the greasy feeling. That's either bc of my eczema or the fact that I use a little which goes a long way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only cream that helps my dry and flaky skin. It helps even with my bouts of eczema. Why is the original cream so hard to find. I’ve tried the eczema cream and it’s not as good by a long shot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There isn’t anything else on the market as good as the Original Healing cream by Eucerin. I have truly only used this cream for 34+ years. I use it in my face, hands and body. Why is it it getting difficult to find. Please don’t get rid of the product.
Excellent for softening rough, dry feet.

I absolutely love this stuff for my feet and hands. I slather on a thick layer on my feet, put on socks, then go to bed. In the morning my feet are smooth and soft. My feet (and probably mostly the socks) soak it up over night, so the skin is not greasy or moist in the morning - just soft. I find this stuff far too greasy to use as an everyday body or hand lotion, unless you are just applying a very tiny amount and really work it in (I even use latex exam gloves when I apply the lotion to my feet, as it is impossible to wash off and my hands get too greasy). This has a diaper cream type of texture, like Triple Paste or Desitin.

I’m so sad based off reviews and tiktok it really seemed like a holy grail item. It’s just kinda like paste not really a lotion. It reminds me of slugging and broke me out with small tiny bumps all over my face, I’ve never really had acne like this before and was hoping this product would just simply hydrate my skin.

This is exactly what I have been looking for my entire life!! I put it on at night before bed and no need to reapply any lotion the next morning! It has even healed the tiny hormonal acne from my forehead!

I have horribly dry skin, and this product works great. It is a bit greasy, but extremely hydrating. I am prone to dry chapped and cracked hands and it has worked well for me! I also appreciate that this product is clean and fragrance free!
Press don’t rub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Found this very nice for my sensitive and angry dry face. The Trick (I find) is to use sparingly. Rub it between fingers to warm and smooth and then press into skin. Don’t rub it - you will get mad at it not being emollient enough (because that’s not really its gig. Think rich paste, even though it says cream)
