works but not for long
it works well to lift up hair from furniture, but the gentle side material ripped within 5 mins of its first use. bummer. it was a good size and price compared to the smaller one!

Duo xl pet hair lint remover
I have tried everything to clean the pet hair off my sofa and this is the only thing that really removes the hair. I am looking for a longer handle to extend it for carpet use, where would I find one.

Doesn't work
This did not work at all. It just moves the pet hair around but doesn’t actually collect it at all. I would not recommend wasting your money.

Stick to the smaller version of this tool
I have the smaller version and love it, so I thought the bigger one would be just as good. However, the metal side does not work at all. It is almost as if they placed the metal piece on the tool at the wrong angle because it doesn’t pick up any hair like the smaller version does. The metal piece has a groove in it that rakes through your carpet to pick up hair, but this groove is placed in a really weird location on the bigger one, so I’d basically have to push the tool through my carpet rather than pull like the smaller one. I guess mine is defective based on the number of good reviews that were part of a promotion for people who got this for free. I’ll be returning it and sticking to the smaller one or a different brand for a bigger one.

I have two cats and a lot of cat hair on my couch and this removed the hair easily. It was also easy to hold in my hand and didn't feel cumbersome.

Great, heavy duty pet hair remover tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beast of a lint roller! I LOVE how it folds in half with the press of a button, really makes storing it easy! The black side gets the softer surfaces and the gold side is for rugs and stuff. You can also attach a longer pole, which is nice.

This quickly removes those fur pills and removes all the fur really quickly. It's similar to one of those manual de-pillers you get from a fabric store, except larger and more comfortable to use.

Vacuum saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have super long hair and I have 2 girls with long hair as well. Add in a dog that sheds a lot and you have the perfect recipe for killing the rollers on a vacuum. This large lint remover works wonders on carpets to pull up the loose hair before vacuuming. Easy to use and really effective. Saved me so much time vacuuming as I didn't have to stop and cut the hair from the rollers.

Works better than most!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I have tried 99% of pet hair removers over the decades. This one is pretty good, right now it's #2 on my list in general, possibly #1 in some situations. It certainly cleaned up the cat hair on the couch very well. It would also be good for blankets and such, if the surface is held taut on at least one side (the chom chom roller is not great at looser fabric). I tried the wire part on the carpet, but I think the pile was too deep for that, on low pile I'm sure it would be fantastic. The only drawback was removing the hair collected. Since it's rubbery, a quick swipe doesn't clean it up, though water may help. The chom chom roller wins out on that aspect. I'll certainly keep this in the bedroom for blankets and quilts, it seems to be the best solution I have for those particular items. All in all, a solid product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. Just wow. I'm amazed at how well Evercare XL Duo Pet Hair and Lint Remover works! It has two sides. One side is meant to gently remove lint from delicate fabrics, and the metal side is meant to grab pet hair. I tested out both sides on an old chair that does not have delicate fabric that our cats practically live in. The first thing I noticed is that the rubber handle is very easy and comfortable to hold onto. I tested out the gentle/lint side first, even though it was mainly cat hair on the chair cushion. It actually did pretty well at removing the hair. Then, I went to work with the metal side. Whoa, baby! This thing got hair out of the chair that I didn't even realize was there! I vacuum and/or lint roll this chair regularly, but I've never removed as much hair as I did with this product! As you can see in the pictures, it removed so much hair; all the hair. I also tested this out on part of my carpet. It performs very well on carpet, too. I'll likely be using the gentle side on curtains and other delicate fabrics. But, it will get used mostly on my furniture and carpets for cat hair removal. I highly recommend this!
