This is the second flag holder I have purchased.
This would also be a great holder for decorative flags but if you want to display the American Flag and do not have a tall yard pole, this is perfect!

Use different screws
I used the screws provided and they were not strong enough to hold a flag in mild wind. Use better screws and it will probably work fine
