Everyone Here Is Lying - by Shari Lapena (Paperback)

I’d give this book no stars if I could . Waste of time for sure . A nine year old wouldn’t have been able to think up such a devious plan this woman must not have kids and there was no building up to the kidnapper it’s just some random person so it wasn’t a surprise at all .

very suspenseful at the beginning, towards the middle you find the whole secret and then afterwards it’s extremely repetitive. i found myself losing interest as i really wanted to love this book.

Soooo good. I finished it in a day! The perfect type of thriller for me when I don’t want anything too dark.

This book was a quick read and I’m a slow reader! I recommend reading it. I also have read The Couple Next Door by the same author and highly recommend checking that one out as well.

Very little mystery and suspense. The entire book is revealed about halfway through (it wasn’t shocking) and it’s pretty much downhill from there. This is the first book from the author I’ve read and I have another on the way, and I’m not excited, honestly. I’m hoping her other books are better.

Too many story lines and leaving the ending open with a lot of questions was a let down. I probably won’t read anymore books by this author.

Really thought this was going to be good given the reviews but it really wasn’t intriguing. It told the ending at about page 150-200 and it just kept repeating. Wasn’t really worth the read

Great book and a very easy read. I was captivated right from the beginning! It’s really good at sucking you in, however, the middle dragged on just a little bit and by the end I was unimpressed. Definitely not the worst ending…just anti-climactic.

This author has a talent for writing quick mysteries filled with dark humor and always has an amazing cast of characters! This book did not disappoint!

I need to stop reading Shari Lapena books. They suck me in and I can’t put them down. However the ending is always open. As a person that needs conclusions and finalities, the open ending ruins the book for me. Good book otherwise.

Quality great as always! But THE READ this one threw my for a loop.

I was so excited to read this book and it did not disappoint! I couldn't put it down! You will love to hate all of the characters. (So if you dislike disliking all of the characters then this book may not be for you). I loved it though, I couldn't wait to find out what was really going on. It only took me a few days to finish. Could have finished in less than a day of my kids and husband didn't always need stuff, lol.
