A: Hi Jeremy - Thanks for the question! Here are the microwave instructions for our Classic Fire Grilled Steak: Step 1: Remove bowl from carton and cut a 1-inch slit in the film. Step 2: Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes and 30 seconds or until fully cooked.* Let stand for 1 minute. Remove film and stir gently. *Product must be cooked thoroughly to 165°F for food safety and quality. Directions developed using 1100-watt microwave oven. Microwave ovens vary, cooking times may require adjusting.

It's changed as of March 2025 but it's still better than most frozen meals. It now has less cilantro flavor and the steak, while no longer having any tough peices, also feels more processed.

Lots of negative reivews here, so wanted to weigh in with my positive view of this product. I have two favorite frozen meals, and this is one of them. It's helpful for my weight loss journey because for 410 calories, it satisfies my tumtum, and I do not have any cravings after finishing it - it's satiating! Not to mention, absolutely delicious. My only complaint is the price. It's much higher than others. But the quality is so much better that I am happy to buy it every so often and see it as a "luxury" of sorts - still cheaper than fast food prices these days!
Bought in December 2024 first time disappointed not as much cilantro flavor.

Used to be 5 stars. My favorite. I make homemade quesadillas with it. Always had a good seal. There's a little steak n it but not much. Seemed like this time more beans and the big problem was the cilantro flavor I love was not as strong.

Lacks salt so it lacks flavor overall, the beef tastes terrible and is very tough, the veggies were mushy. The rice and beans were the only edible parts of this meal.

Great flavor but the beef is very tough and chewy. It's mostly gristle and cannot not be digested. I have to chew it up and then spit out the gristle on every single piece of the beef. Otherwise I love this dinner and buy it anyway. But what are they thinking with that poor quality of beef!!

Very tasty, nice veggie mix with cilantro and a hint of lime, but light on meat. Overall, very good lunch meal. Only negative is that the bowl isn’t sealed well with the cellophane cover leaving the food exposed and loose inside the cardboard box. Tip: shake box before purchasing - if food rattles then don’t buy that particular box.

There are about five pieces of steak, all one inch in length or smaller, but dozens of beans. Thankfully it’s a really small bowl so it’s easy to swallow, and there’s a lot of protein (because it is likely 40-50% beans by volume).

I love this dinner! The portion size is great. I love the way the cheese gets a little crusty around the edges and the flavor of the steak is amazing! The balance of the vegetables with the meat is perfect and the texture of all the ingredients is just right. This is by far the best dinner out there! I try to keep at least two in my freezer at all times (and one at work).

What has happened to your quality control?? I’ve had to throw out 4 of these bought at different Brand stores, different weeks because not frozen correctly. Product hasn’t been sealed correctly countless times. I’ll wait til the next Ice Storm to purchase again.
