Shockingly good
Ok so First off Im a Genetic Mutant AKA I have that OR6A2 gene Cilantro tastes like soap to me but surprisingly this has a great balance of cilantro to oregano ratio, I do however think they could up the quality of the steak there was a couple of pieces that were kind of gristle chewy, The potatoes were good just wish they were Krispy I might try to dupe the sauce for some super herby potatoes of my own the Broccoli was over cooked a bit so they could ease up on the pre cook of it to make it a little more substantial and they need to up the ammount of veg over the potatoes. Over all it was tasty .

Overall pretty decent
Overall it was pretty good, I did have to add a little seasoning but the garlic butter taste was def there. I do feel like the potato portion was a bit too large compared to the amount of steak you get. I would also like it better if the potatoes were more uniformly cut. I don’t love huge chunks of unseasoned potato, so I feel like if they were more uniform the sauce would have coated better. Over all the quality and taste was pretty good! If it didn’t contain so many potatoes I would def purchase again, it was just a little much for my dietary needs

Where’s the beef?
The meal pictured on the box looked delicious and substantial. Primarily that steak looked incredible. Flash forward to opening the box and finding 30 potato pieces and three little pieces of steak. So yes, it was very good, even considering that it is a frozen meal, but it was a bit disappointing that it was so lacking in what the box shows is the main ingredient: beef.However, if you look at the ingredients list, the steak is not the first ingredient lol I guess I should’ve read the ingredients list before buying this in order to manage my expectations. Also, this was one of the most expensive frozen meals in the frozen food aisle, but it looked so good we thought we’d give it a try.So, if you love broccoli and potatoes in pesto sauce with a very small amount beef then this is the meal for you. Now, I don’t know if this was by design but the spacebar doesn’t work on this review section so I had to resort to voice dictation. Who knows but this is just my humble opinion.

Love this one and filled the freezer with it! Would like to see a little more potatoes and steak but other than that the flavor is so good for a frozen meal and the broccoli is not at all like typical vegetables in frozen meals that are inedible.

I love the flavor of this meal, probably because I am a big fan of herbs. I really enjoyed my lunch, except for one thing: not enough steak. Add more of that, and I'd consider it excellent. Besides that, though, the texture and flavor is on point! The steak was tender, the broccoli very impressive for a microwave meal, and the potatoes were not mushy.

Really didn't like
So to put a review on things it asks you what did you like or dislike. Well I did actually like the broccoli. It is a lil s soggy but tastes ok. Now the potatoes & steak are horrible. The steak, few pieces you get, are so hard to chew. Plenty potatoes but can't even taste them cuz so beyond soaked in the horrible sauce. The sauce is so bad I had to add ketchup, which I rarely use but thought can't make this any worse. There was so much of that sauce that when I was done, there was like a fourth of a cup of it left. I hope if someone else out there gets it & enjoys it cuz do like other Evol meals.

Pickles and steak
Tastes like pickles and steak with very little broccoli. The company seems to give the same response to just about every review, therefore I have low expectations.

Horrible flavor
My family eats a fair amount of frozen entrees because life is busy with us both working full time and having teenagers. So I'm not one who looks at frozen entrees with disdain - except for this Evol meal of "Garlic Herb Steak". The WORST part of the whole meal was the purreed grass they slathered on the chewy steak bits. Okay, the ingredients listed it as parsley, but it sure tasted like grass. I painstakingly wiped off every piece of steak to get the green nasties off (because I didn't want to waste $5), which was a lot of effort for subpar steak bits. The better part of the meal was the potatoes, though I had to add salt and pepper bc they were super bland. I will never buy this meal again.
